My Samsung TV display recently stopped working while I was playing PS4 (no storm or anything to indicate a power surge). I could still hear audio through the PS4 but no display. The TV kept trying to turn on but would turn off after a second or two.

I tried the obvious troubleshooting steps like unplugging, replugging, trying different outlets and power cords with no luck. Hello! I was referred to this forum when trying to troubleshoot an issue with my relatively new Samsung TV.

I don't have a long history of working on electronics but consider myself to be very handy and can't stand paying for repair services that I could just as easily do myself, so I'm hoping to find some troubleshooting tips here!
