I was measuring with the SS and SC installed. Checked again, 187, dropped to less than 3v and never shut off until I pressed the button.

During this time, is their an LED lit on the SC (possibly also the SS)?

Yes. When I hit the power on button the green LED's light up but fade out over 20 seconds.

Can I have a picture of the connectors going from the main board to PSU? I'm hoping they are labelled, if not, I may be able to use the labelling from the 50PX75U.

There is only 1 connection from the main board to the PSU. In cn1 you have red, yellow, brown, black going to P5 on the end (cn2) Cn3 is an over all pic.

Where does that large bundle, left of the red-yellow-brown-black connector go?

It's called a Power DC board 0171-2071-0333. See Pic.

"F" in the model number, I assume, means F for Full HD (1080p vs 720p).

Test all the pins on the power DC board which go to the main board. Got some homework to do now, but I will check against the Panasonic manual for what checks to be done to PSU.

Good evening tom66. Seems I have a new symptom. After power on as I'm checking the pins on the Dc board, power board and Main board, the TV shuts off approximately 30 seconds after power on. It's got me really confused now. Is the SOS detect shutting it down? It could be the power board, the A board or the D board or even the SS board where it loops the power back to the P board.

OK. I need a little more guidance. Since the TV has a black screen and totally shuts down 30 seconds after power on, I don't have much time to do testing. In the attached .pdf files taken from a 10th generation Panasonic technical guide, I'm wondering if doing these tests will solve the problem of the unit staying powered up.
