I'll replace the caps first, have it on the table currently but I'll check values right after that. I did double check the cables and connections, nothing.

Re: Finlux 32FLD760P with Vestel 17PW20.v1

Update. The big cap has 333v as usual when plugged in and power button on.

No blue LED, no voltage on any of the connector pins, and no clue what happened.

I checked the soldering with a magnifying glass and I can't see any shorts or locations not connected. Something must've died, and badly since there's no 24v, no 5v, no nothing.

Edit. Lower half of the PSU has no power at all, upper half seems to work just fine.

OK, only way this happens is if standby dies... Check grey-black wire going to that red two pin connector. Plugged in fully. Both states of power switch tested.

          0v, standby is definitely dead.

Edit. I'm trying to read the schematic for this board but it's jibberish to me, I know what parts are what but I'm terrible at knowing which diagram is where on the PSU

Don't worry, Vestel schematics confuse me too.

Chip ID for PFC is wrong... just in case you get confused..

"TNY866" is wrong. It is some other odd chip.

Across C801, 33u 50V, you should have a voltage, anything?

Check IC825... bottom of board, secondary near standby for shorts.

"Across C801, 33u 50V, you should have a voltage, anything?"

I can't reach the pins to check, it's too close to the board and I can't reach around back. That is the cap I talked about earlier, the 33uF 63v ones that I changed which made all this stop working. I think the problem lies around this cap on the backside of the board, just not sure how or why?

"Check IC825... bottom of board, secondary near standby for shorts."

I can't seem to find the IC825 anywhere, but I did check all connections and I don't really see anything out of the ordinary

Well I just found a faulty 17PW15-9 lying around, so if you need any tests to compare...
It has the same problem yours originally has but I don't have a TV to install it in yet.

Anything above red line measures ok, has power. Anything below has nothing at all. The green circles has power but the grey side is 0.

What is the P/N# for that 8 pin IC near standby transformer?

I borrowed a picture from the web with much better quality, I think you can see what you need to see, but I fear you know all this on the back of your hand already

                      I'm guessing P/N# means the IC806 number?

I'm not really very good at all this stuff, trying to learn as we go along.

                        Yeah, IC806 number.

One thing to try is the PSU without the side-on switch plugged in.

Just tell me how and I'll do it, anything to have something to do, and well, hopefully maybe possibly not likely repair this damn vestel crap

Unplug that grey cable+red connector and see if voltages come up. Bottom middle in this pic.

Test these pins with DMM negative on negative of big cap.

                                    Pin 1: GND (expect 0V)
Pin 2: Vcc (expect around 12V)
                                    Pin 3: VFB (not sure)
                                    Pin 4: Ipk (not sure)
Pin 5: Vstr (expect near Vcc)
Pin 6: Drain (expect around 330V)
                                    Pin 7: As above
                                    Pin 8: As above

Can you check pin 2 to see if it is a steady 12.5V or if it is unstable. You can check across the 33u/50V if it is easier -- positive lead on positive side of cap and negative lead on the big cap or on negative of 33u.

It's stable at 12.52V, most certain. I had to solder the 33u/50V so close to board I can't even get under it, too short legs.

I'm thinking about moving the new panasonic caps back on again, but the difference is that the caps now are 63v and panasonic is 50v, and you also mention it being 50v. I'm confused at that

                                            Hi,
Got a Finlux 65-FUC-8060 TV that doesn't turn on, 5V standby present from PSU, 3.3V on mainboard present, button signal gets pulled low when pressed, but mainboard never sends signal to PSU to turn main rails on.
I suspect corrupt firmware but I haven't been able to find anything for this TV.
                                            TV model: Finlux 65-FUC-8060
                                            Mainboard: Vestel 17MB130S 23473048
                                            Panel: VES650QNTS-2D-U11

At the very least looking for a firmware that can make it turn on to confirm the problem, and hopefully a firmware that's compatible with the panel.

Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                                            I can't find any schematics...

The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in...

                                            Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.

I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.

I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.

Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

The power button, along with the volume, back, select, and directional...

Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
                                            1) I press the red power button on the remote
                                            2) The TV turns on normally
                                            3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
                                            4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

                                            BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...
