    Just found an insignia ns-lcd32

ok just found a insignia ns-lcd32 lcd tv that was thrown away.

After plugging in I see the screen is cracked.

Was wondering if anyone has a part number for the screen or can provide me with a link to where I can get one.

It will be written on the back of the LCD panel i.e. LTA32A0P06 for a Samsung 32" LCD panel. However please note in the vast majority of cases it is not economical to replace the LCD panel.

I agree seems like this particular Model LCD had a lot of problems.

Do you think I should save the electronic boards and throw out the rest or just throw the who;e thing away????

That is what I would do.
I just picked up a free 32" Polaroid with a cracked screen. If I had just replaced the LCD it would be no good, because the force which cracked the screen also damaged the power supply and main board (bending both.)

I did plug it in and it did come on, I can even see some of the menu, so I do not think the power supply or any other boards are bad .

Question do you think this screen will work in this one

The screen must be an -EXACT- match to guarantee it will work, because don't forget you also have mechanical mountings.

OK, so it may work. The LCD panel model is also important because the main board will be programmed for the right panel. Also try the main board with a video signal to see if you get a picture, just in case main board has other issues.

I think the ebay link you've posted won't work. The ebay link Tom posted in post #7 is an exact replacement for the panel you need. Your current broken panel is a chunghwa panel. The ebay link you posted is a Chi mei innolux panel. So the chances are very slim that it'll work right out of the box. Shop Jimmy is showing 29 different panels for you tv and 17 mainboards if i'm counting correctly. SO the ebay auction you posted is correct saying it'll work for your tv but like Tom has already said if the mainboard isn't compatible with the panel your probably going to be buying a paper weight.

I have a CLAA320WA01 panel in my basement but you need a CLAA320WF01 panel. I looked at the datasheets and your panel and mine are pinned completely different. Though you MIGHT be able to cut the LVDS cable and reroute the wires but its a job in itself.

I really appreciate the advice I am getting.

I did send the guy message about the panel, because I see that I have 7 connections on one side and on his it might be 8, I think if it is 7 then it just might work.

I still am not sure if I will invest or not, just weighing my options right now

Best way to verify is to download the specification of the panel and look at the pin out of the T-CON and the voltage it needs.

I got a huawei D15 that came in for no power repair. Device charges , charging led flashedms but doesn't turn on. I found corrosion on an IC (ic name is BDJCY1...I can't find out much info about it online). I removed this ic and two pads are corroded but they can be repaired. To my knowledge inductors never short to ground (i might be wrong and please those that are more knowledgeable than me can correct me). I found few inductors short to ground when my multimeter is in beep mode ,indicating a short in the line of those inductors...but I don't know how to go about to find the shorted component...

First, I'm not sure it's the right section to post for this type of device, but could not think of something better.

Ok, so my son (a mechanic) bought a faulty Hofmann Geodyna 6300 wheel balancer (which appears to be mostly a re-branded Snap-on wheel balancer).

I'm trying to diagnose the fault(s ?), but I can't find any schematic (appart from the...

Hello. I have a lenovo that will not show any indication of life. No led, sound or anything really. So I took the motherboard out and started testing points according to the advice in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=102409

                                      PU201 is Showing 6v

VREG3/5 show a high value (around 20v) for a split second then drop down very quickly. Hold around 1v but then continue to drop to zero. One is showing .2v.

Fuse PF1 is showing very low voltage (which according to the thread deals with docking and is expected)
