Huawei D15 no power found corrosion damage
I got a huawei D15 that came in for no power repair. Device charges , charging led flashedms but doesn't turn on. I found corrosion on an IC (ic name is BDJCY1...I can't find out much info about it online). I removed this ic and two pads are corroded but they can be repaired. To my knowledge inductors never short to ground (i might be wrong and please those that are more knowledgeable than me can correct me). I found few inductors short to ground when my multimeter is in beep mode ,indicating a short in the line of those inductors...but I don't know how to go about to find the shorted component...1 Photo

Lenovo g50-80 charging led flashing but laptop not switching on
I got a lenovo g50-80 that shows charging led (orange LED flashing) and when I press the power button the white LED comes on but the laptop doesn't switch on. The fan spins for 2 seconds when I press the power button then it stops. This problem started when my charging dock broke the connecting wires and i soldered these wires back but I might have mixed them. I ended up buying a new charging dock but laptop never switched on it just shows flashing orange LED when charger is connected. Could the super io be bad? I don't know how to go about diagnosing and I can't check any board view since this...

Re: Macbook A1706 touchpad and keyboard not working. Please help
the board was not worked on before, only battery was replaced. As mentioned i do get 5v on PP5V_S4, 3.3V PP3V3_S4 and 3.3V PP3V3_S0. I also meaured the smc lid on the connector and i get 3.4V. Only voltage that is less than normal is the 11.2V instead of 12.6V on the fuse. So i dont konw what else to check. I was thinkink maybe smc line as somebody once said in another group. What voltage should i inject into the mac because when i measure the voltages the mav will be plugged in to a normal type c cable (its...

Macbook A1706 touchpad and keyboard not working. Please help
Hi guys i am new to macbook repairs (i mostly do microsoldering on iphones and android devices. I need your assistance with macbook a1706 (touchbar edition) that came in without touchpad and keyboard functionality. External keyboard and mouse does work but the keyboard and touchpad on the macbook does not work. I changed the touchpad flex, also replaced the touchpad but the issue persisted. I then measured voltage on the board and found that PIN 44-50 of the touchpad connector (J4501) got 11.2V instead of 12.6V. Those pins required 12.6v and they get their 12.6v from PPVIN_S4-TPAD_FUSE . I measure...
