lg 60 pc1d recycles clicking

i just picked up a 60" lg it is a 60pc1d-ue . (pdp60x60000)
when i try to power it on you hear it click to try to power up , then you hear it start the recyling series of clicking. i know power board right? my gut is the sub power board because the fuse holder had the fuse missing and a wire solidered across it. i took the sub power board out looked at the bottom side(green side) it looks like someone tried to put new capicators in or some went bad ,,the solder job did look too great!! i have a capicator repair kit to install to see if this will help or not. everything else looks ok by a visual inspection! i have a multi meter,,but limited knowledge on using, so work with me and help walk me through this please. i will try to post a couple good pictures when i get time! can i put a t6.3 fuse in the sub board to power it up just for the mean time ,,the t15 fuse is missing and i don't have a extra one? i reheated the areas that had the bad solider spots to see if maybe that would help, if not then i will put the repair capicator kit in! any help out there,,??

I would be considering the Y-sus or Z-sus on this model, as the xxPCxD plasmas have poor reliability with either board.

should i resoilder the wire across the fuse holder cause i cant find a fuse (t15a)
all the other fuses are smaller? any help

Use a 10A fuse for now, and keep a small collection, because it will blow them after some time. Find a 15A fuse later.

i tried to power up the tv with just the power supply board and the sub board hooked up . i got only 1 click, then i tried with the y main and the plug with the v5 i got the cycling clicks. i then tried the x main and the v 5 plug and y main still got the cycling clicks . i also spoke to previous owner ,,he said that the large power board was hooked up to a "ultrasonic" and that it checked out ok. i think the capicator repair kit that i ordered will be here tomorrow, atleast i hope!!

I do not know what an ultrasonic is or would possibly do.

i dont know either, thats just what he told me. i will check out the power board and the sub board , then go from there. maybe i can find a repair manual on line.

i put a repair kit on the (sub power board) i still have the clicks , but their not as often now?? i did notice a resistor on the large power board had a chip out of it or it went bad,, someone put it on the board ,and put it on the wrong side lol,,,so now i know that the lg and smaller board was messed with. i will need help on finding a new resistor, i will put a picture of it up later , i think the number on the board is r995 on the powersupply board eay32961801.

Measure the Vs voltage with and without the Y-sus and Z-sus connected.

this is one more pic, there is a burnt spot under that resistor . anyone know what size or where i can get another one from ?

A low ohm resistor bridging the primary to the secondary?! Is that not safe?!!!

im gona say that the part was put in wrong by previous owner, i tested vs and va they were both low vs 160 should of been 190 va 30 should of been 60 the still has the recycling clicks but its not as often as before. it is kinda hard to get a good reading when its doing that!!

Check your mulimeter's battery just in case.

i think there is a short in either the power board or the sub power board.

That would cause near zero output voltage.
Please verify your multimeter battery.
