I would suggest to replace memory dump properly, for Sharp lcd tv, the memory dump compromise is a typical failure, Success, from Romania, Cluj, only better!Comment

Find the part number and datasheets for the following components on the t-con board: U300, Q302, and U5. My guess is it will be one of the first 2 that does DC-DC conversion?--- begin sig file ---

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32D40U - no image
A lot of voltages are missing on that list. Did you make sure the TV was turned ON when taking measurements? Because it just seems as if it turned OFF pretty much soon after you measured Vcc.
VDD, VGL, and VGH should always be there when Vcc is there.
VDD is usually something like 15-20V, VGL around -5 to -10V, and VGH 20 to 35V.
U300 should be the power controller for the t-con. See if you can read the numbers on top and post them here.Comment

Well, keep in mind that people on this forum have lives too, so you need to give them more time to respond.Originally posted by ahickmanAnyone?

U300 is the t-con power supply controller. It likely controls VDD, VGH, and VGL.
Perhaps I should have written it more clearly in my last post, but you really *should* double-check those voltages I mentioned because it just seems like the TV was off when you tried to measure them. Either that, or somehow you didn't measure them correctly. Check your multimeter and make sure you're measuring with respect to ground.
Also, a few more clear pictures of the t-con would be helpful.Comment

With rain pretty much all of June and some sun finally in July, I would much rather be outside enjoying the little summer we have in Canada rather than searching for part numbers all day.--- begin sig file ---

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32D40U - no image
Momaka,
Sorry, it is just so very rewarding to make progress on these sets and I am very dependent on the knowledge of this forum. It has been VERY hot here in VA and I find myself looking for such projects during the heat of the day.
I have snapped a few close-ups of the t-con board. Had to take sequential pictures in order to get decent resolution.
I retested the 3V pad and several others using one of the screws going to chassis as GND. Got the exact same voltages. I also used a heat sink on the secondary side of the PS as GND. No changes in voltages.
While I could blindly order the t-con board from ShopJimmy, I would rather have the satisfaction of learning more about troubleshooting the t-con. All help/guidance is greatly appreciated and I will try to be more patient

1) Wow, you may need to rethink how you are searching.
2) The very first search result for
3687V

http://www.alldatasheet.com/datashee...I/FA3687V.html
3) pin 6 = VCC and pin 11 is GND. What is the DC voltage on pin 6?
4) pin 13 is regulated output voltage. What is the DC voltage on pin 13?--- begin sig file ---

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32D40U - no image
Depending on the accuracy of your multimeter and whether it is within calibration limits, this IC could be bad. According to page 7 of the datasheet, the regulated voltage (pin 13) should be 2.200V DC +/- 1% (between 2.178 and 2.222).
At 2.31V, it is 5% out. Is this enough to stop the t-con from working? I'm not 100% sure. If this were a "jellybean" 1117 voltage regulator, I would confidently say it is definitely bad at 5% out.--- begin sig file ---

by advantThis thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.
I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match... -
by rimwallThis TV was showing a fine image and pulsing with a partial double image (offset vertically) every few seconds. I taped 8 clock pins on one ribbon cable from the Tcon to the panel. It stopped the double image, but some pulsing in intensity was still visible. I then taped another 8 clock pins on the same ribbon cable and the image is now ‘fixed’. Although I understand this results in some loss of resolution, presumably because the clock signal degrades as it passes horizontally across the screen.
I am wondering - do these symptoms and ‘fix’ mean that it’s a Tcon fault or... -
Hi everyone. [Sorry for the long, detailed post in advance].
I have a Sharp LC-52E77UN which randomly shuts down--could be within 15 minutes, could be 40 minutes, over 1 hour, it's unpredictable. From reading the service manual, I was able to get into service mode (where the K is displayed), and found the following error flag toggled: "04 Initial Communication Error 4 -- Error reason: To the communication setting reception," which, from contacting an eBay TV repair store, I was told is caused NOT by a bad TCON (which was my first guess), but rather the motherboard.... -
by jason123Hi there,
My son's gaming monitor started having rolling image (vertical roll - See Video) similar to vertical sync issue, or T-CON problems in TVs. Has anyone see this? is it fixable or a throw away?
I haven't even opened it up yet. Does it have a T-CON? Help is appreciated.
It does this even with the monitor not connected to a computer / graphics card....-

by jason123Hello all. 3 years back, with your help, I replaced the LEDs on this TV. It's been working great. Yesterday, I turned it on (garage TV), and it has blurred horiz / vert lines as you see in photos. Definitely no physical hit or damage. Top 1/6th of the screen is perfect. Could it be main / TCON board? No tabs to cut on this model. Thank you...
