Have you tested ANY fuses if so which.

Thread is getting too long have you posted good clear pictures of the fronts
and backs of all your boards.
Post pics of All the connectors on the power supply other than the one we have.

I have tested all of the removable ceramic fuses and they were all good.

There's a fuse on that board with F5A on it and the board has a fuse marker next to it (in the triangle.)

LEDs on control board, do they light up?

LEDs are not lighting up. Will test the fuse later today.

What's the voltage on either end of the fuse relative to the case ground of the TV?

Hmm, I wonder what the LEDs do, if anything. I'm out of ideas on what could be wrong now - I wish I could help more.

I actually think one was coming on when I started this. It definitely hasn't been since I started switching out parts though. I have a replacement logic control board coming sometime this week. We'll see if that works.

Umm Im out of ideas too unless you want to post pictures of the boards and I will look for fuses. With it all connected ( Make sure every lead is connected) up you could go through again and test all the voltages at the connectors - if there is time when it is on and again when it is off. Now that you have chimes has the number of flashes changed.

The voltage was checked across the cap C5045 or neighbours; this read okay so the fuse is probably good but it was never explicitly checked.

I think this was on the other guys Samsung plasma, the 64 inch.

My y board is a quite different, but there is a F5000. Looks ok.

Let's make sure I'm doing this right though - meter on ohms and it should read near zero, correct?

Sounds correct - should be the same as holding the probes together.

Ok, i'm doing it right then. There is another little green fuse on the x main that checked out ok too.

There are actually 2 green fuses on the y board and 2 on the x. One where the power comes in and one where the control cable connects. All of them check out ok.

I think it could be the control board - but I'm not sure how to isolate it for sure.

Definitely rule out the Y main, Y buffers, X main and the main board.

Ok, I'm waiting for the control board. I'll post what happens when I get it.
