hi have you tested the inverter IC vcc pins and check for input voltage and so check the mainbord too for the smps you must check the ecap with the help of a ESR meter

Im surprised you didnt search on here for other people with same model. I just finished fixing one of these which also had a bad bulb.

I ordered 3mm x 705mm and i got it to work, but it was quite clearly not the right size. It looked to me like 4mm would be around right, but i didnt measure it exactly.

Be prepared for the biggest pain ever trying to remove the crimped on peices on the end of the bulbs (the new bulbs just come with a thin 22 guage wire on each end)
Fixed so far 12 lcd's , 1 plasmas, 5 monitors, 0 dlp's (plan to keep the dlps at 0). and 3 atx power supplies, and 2 motherboards.

Just to close this out... I can confirm that part # RLMPLA029WJN1 is correct and works. I ordered from partstore.com $22 shipped. The fix was incredibly easy. The instructions from at fixya http://www.fixya.com/support/r105764...del_lc_32sb23u (although a slightly different model) were spot on. Thanks to all and especially Allen Bennett at fixya for the part # and perfect instructions. TV is now working flawlessly.

A lot of fun and my first TV repair. Now on to the Samsung 46" with bad capacitors.

                Re: Sharp LC-32SB24U

Hey, I had this Tv before and fixed it with a ccfl replacement.
Now I have the same model and it has the same symptom (pink/purple ccfl), with that replaced, I can get the error-bypass to work (button combination) and everything is fine (as it cut on for only 2 seconds before on error-bypass) but everytime it is unplugged, it reverts to the backlight error.
Am I missing something or could it possibly be another ccfl?

                  Sharp LC-60LE810UN Lamp error
                  by Eric D.
                  Hello everyone!
I just acquired a Sharp Aquos for free.
When I plug it in, it will try to power on, but it fails.
The "error code" is 1 long flash, then 1 short flash, which suggests it is a lamp error code, according to the manuals.
                  I did a bit of research and did what I found could be the possible issues;
I removed the back panel, checked for continuity on both fuses where the power cable connects, and I get somewhere around 0.05. That should be good.
I also tested the leads going into the psu board from the wall connector; I get 120V.
                  I disconnected...

Epson 5040UB Projector No Lamp Strike Stuck in Startup - Blinking Status/Lamp Lights
                  by vestaviascott
Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

                  Here's what happens:

                  1) Power on
                  2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
                  3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...

BenQ TH681 Originally overheating now wont fire the lamp - Colour wheel not starting
                  by AJ847.63e
                  Hi All.

Does anyone have any reference materials or something I can use to try troubleshooting a BenQ TH681? Google unfortunately has turned up zip. I did find a service manual for a W series BenQ but that is pretty much useless, it's more a glorified user manual. A list of voltages would be great as I suspect my mainboard is faulty, the colour wheel voltage is not dipping like it should.

The one I am troubleshooting now was originally overheating after a lamp replacement. It originally would take 2 minutes or so for it to shut off and blink the temp and lamp lights...

Tiny Tech ATX480W output power ticking
                  by mikey5791
                  Hi to all forum members,

This psu (Tiny Tech model ATX 480W) had been installed in a very old Windows XP PC but recently i pulled it out as the pc cannot start. To test it, i jumped the green wire and black wire on the 24 pin connector. The psu fan jerk a bit but not spinning. I used my dmm to check dc voltage on output connector wire, the 5v red wire keeps ticking a bit at around dc1v....then drops and ticking again around 1v. It is the same situation with the 12v yellow wire.

Fyi, i desoldered the secondary side electrolytic cap those over 1000uf...

                  Sharp LC-60LE810UN Lamp Error
                  by Yanleb
                  Hi all,

I have this Sharp LC-60LE810UN that stays off and blinks a Lamp Error (1 long flash followed by a short flash, in a loop).

I already confirmed that the first backlight strip has an open LED using a LED strip tester. The other 3 LED strips are fine.

Before tearing the LCD panel apart, I want to make sure that the rest of the TV set is good. I've tested the power-supply/LED inverter board by sending 5 volt to PS-ON, to PNL-POW (that commands power the T-CON board only), OFL and STB pins. The power-supply is good.

                  I've tried all the key...
