Toshiba 50HM66
Strange case, Guy brought me the TV after he had someone else replace the HDMI board because the HDMI would no longer work. He bought the board from Ebay and was going to install it himself until he found how much work it was. Anyway after the Ebay HDMI board was installed the set started turning on and off. The bulb comes on, all the fans are working, I tried cooling the temp sensor with no help. There were no wires left unhooked, all the caps test good, all the FETs on the power board test good. The color wheel is turning. I need some ideas, HELP

Re: Panasonic TC-P50X5 Plasma TV Dead
I have the same TV and have no standby voltage. I do have 135v at the filter cap, but when the power button is pushed nothing happens, there is no clicking sound when plugged in or the power button is pushed. I can't seem to find a service manual for it so I hope someone can help

Re: Wah pedal
I used a 47k in place of the 48k but I didn't think that would make a big difference. I still think I either wired the jacks wrong or the pot. I've looked at it so long I wouldn't see it if it jumped up and bit me. I'll try again in the AM. If any one has any ideas please let me know. Hey Khron666 when you did on spice did you use the jacks and pot. If you did is there a way to send me or post a copy of it.
Thanks everyone

Re: Wah pedal
All they show is what I posted. I can get a signal through it using a signal generator, but I can't seem to get the wah effect. Well back to the bench

Can anyone tell what the green line means between the two 1/4 jacks. I've bilt this thing twice and can't seem to get it to work. I am pretty sure I am screwing up on the wiring of the jacks...

Amp question
I want to add a reverb tank to this circuit but not sure where to tie it in. I want it adjustable and my first thought is to put it before the input, is that right?
The schematic calls for an 8 ohm speaker, mine is 4 ohm. Can I just add a resistor to the out put going to the speaker?
I am going to use this as a guitar amp...

Voltage Regulator
Can I use a 7812CV in place of a 7812AP. The specs on both look a like, but the 7812cv has a metal back and the 7812AP does not.

T-CON Wire
I was given a Sanyo DP32746, when I opened it up I found the connector at the T-CON had 4 wires pulled out. Does anyone know how these go back or have a good photo where I can see how the wires go?...

Re: Servive Manual Needed
I dug farther and need some help, I have no back lights, no sound and using a light against the screen I see no video. I am not getting voltage to the T-Con checking it on both sides of the T-Con fuse.
On the power supply plug on the bottom of the board the voltages are
24V
24V
24V
BL-ON 5.19V
PWM 3.3V
5V
5V
PS-ON 5.18V
The plug on the left side
VCC 12V
FBK 0V
LD 12V
I checked the voltage at each transformer on the inverter board as the...

Re: Servive Manual Needed
Here are photos of the boards in the TV,
the power board number is F693006680
Main Board 5097695303
Inverter 1400H1-20A
I am not getting any back lights, The power board is putting out the voltages that are required on the silk screen. I tested the primary side of all the transformers on the inverter board and they all test good. Just for giggles I installed a known good power board and it made no difference. I have not checked the T-Con, will a bad T-Con prevent the back lights from working???
I have not hooked...
