Re: Learn about LCD panel and T-CON board
Budm, good information.
Tried to find a replacement IC for the defective audio output of the Sharp I have been working--seems forever. The no sound issue is due to two IC's, a TA2024 and a AK4586VQ. The latter IC provides one L/R output for the monitor output which works fine and another L/R output for the power amplifier, to drive the speakers which doesn't work. The TA2025 power amp is also bad, voltages are too far off and when the monitor oitput is bridged to the input of the TA2024, there is no out.
Can you advise if you know where I could find these parts. Neither Mouser or Digikey list either IC. Otherwise, will just install a generic audio stage and drive it from the monitor outputs and reconnect the internal speakers to this amp. former IC.
Thanks

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
