Re: lcd panels
And they'd probably only cover it under warranty, and only in specific circumstances (not cracked screen for example.) As the LCD is 80-90% the price of TV, plus labour, it probably ends up cheaper to refund the customer. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lcd panels
I have a number for a guy in New York who, from what I have been told, can get any part for any tv and also panels too.
I called him today and hope to hear back from him to confirm this.
As soon as I find out I will post it hear (pending everyone`s permission?) I think thats ok, but not sure.Comment

Re: lcd panels
i checked into some lower price new panels - $808 for a 46" LCD, given that you can get a 50" 1080 Plasma for $ 492, even in the boonies where I live, it is kinda hopeless and you just hope that people start tossing out big screens with bad electronics and stock pile the control boards. I have seen some used panels in the 200$ range usedComment

by eccerr0rWell, due to my grid tie inverter not accepting high voltages, and the fact that the lions in my solar panels are 36V (72-cell) I think I need to stick with 72-cell.
However I have a few smaller panels that are 36, 32, and two 30-cell. The 36 and 32 together run at 75% efficiency (and subtract more with additional inefficiencies) when running in parallel with the 72-cell panels. The kicker is that the two 30s... generate 0% power when connected in parallel(!)
So now what to do with these small panels?
I could sell them...
Or I could shim them.... -
by Ado02Hello everyone,
We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the Intelยฎ Irisยฎ Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.
The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...12-16-2024, 02:33 PM -
by diamonI have three Microsoft Surface Pro 5 model 1796, with all cracked screens.
Have bought from Aliexpress three new screens, the part numbers from my and the seller are the same:
Bad working China screen part number:
Good working own screen part number
Error I get with the bad working China screen:
No error with the good working own screen:
All the three China screens (all the same exact part numbers) produce the same error in Device manager. Have also performed a clean installation... -
by the_remHello guys,
I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.
I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow... -
by ezeniaHello,
Not sure if this is the correct section, but I have a PS4 controller that I am trying to fix. It developed stick drift on the left stick and the usual simpler methods did not fix the problem.
So I went on eBay and ordered some replacement potentiometers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174967976757 is where I got them from.
I took the green potentiometers off the replacement sticks and soldered them onto the PCB. Assembled the controller and ran some tests. The drifting was somewhat fixed (not fully in center, but way better than before). However,... - Loading...
