I have ordered also this device from Ali, (this one: click) and after connecting it to the USB port on my laptop, the voltage on data pin mentioned in the YouTube posting from AdamantIT is not 5V but the 3.2V from the voltage regulator (no chip has been placed into to socket).
It seems they have fixed this 5V issue on the data pin. The main chip is running on the 3.2V and not on 5V....Leave a comment:

I have used your patcher and it worked fabulous.
It is perhaps possible for you, to make this patcher in english?
Could you also please re-upload those files?...Leave a comment:

Thanks, did not know that.
I do know, that I can make things more difficult than necessary (think to much 🤔).
Have ordered a CH341A and when I received it, I will upload the content of the XMC QH256BXIQ chip here.
And I have found a new YouTube channel to watch > FairRepair 😁...Leave a comment:

Changing model number 5500 to 5510
I would like to place a Dell Latitude 5500 (black color) motherboard into a Dell Latitude 5510 (silver color) chassis .
How can I change the model number of this laptop?.
When you're entering the bios (F12), you see in the left corner Latitude 5500, I would like to have this changed into Latitude 5510
I have already edited the 5500 bios bin file with HxD, and changed the 5500 into 5510, but after re-flashing and soldering the chip back, the name in the left corner is still Dell Latitude 5510 (have entered the ServiceTag of the 5510 chassis).
Have uploaded the original... -
Dell Latitude 5510 does not start
I have this Dell laptop (LA-J381P boardnumber), with the following things that does work.
Pressing the power button, the laptop turns on and the backlight of the screen turns on also (no image).
Pressing the power button when on, the laptop turns off
With no memory, the laptop does see this and gives me the blinking error code that there is no memory installed.
When the internal LCD is not connected to the motherboard, the laptop does see this and gives me the blinking error code that there is no screen connected.
The BIST test works, so no issue with the screen... -
A small update regarding my situation.
I had found in topic need bios dump dell latitude 5420 cpu 11th this posting.
Someone else mentioned that the file "try 2nd outimage" worked for that person, so I have used it also.
And I can confirm, the file worked like a charme. Kudo's to qayyum786...Leave a comment:

ServiceTag: 6ZKF6J3
I had used the https://github.com/chromebreakerdev/DellBIOSTools script, but it gives me an error, that the Intel signature not found.
Think i perhaps know why, wanted to read the bios file with my EZP2019 programmer and pushed the wrong button 😣 (AUTO > auto recognize the chip brand and size)....Leave a comment:

Dell Latitude 5520 completely dead
I have bought a not complete and defective Dell Latitude 5520 for parts (needed the networkconnector (RJ45) to repair a other board).
Have repaired the other board (Dell Latitude 5540) and I wanted to know if I could find out what is wrong with the 5520 board (SouthPeak15 TGL MB 8L 19819-1) and perhaps repair this one also.
After connecting the USB-C charger (both USB-C ports on the laptop, does not have an other option) and pressing the power button, nothing happens (no lights or fans, no capslock).
Have checked with a thermal camera, and there are a couple of things...3 Photos
