Re: LG 32lc46 totaly dead
right just restested it still 2.00 volts board marking says 3.4-on so any ideas guys the remote turns it on and of ok light flashes when change channel button pressed etc screen does not flash on at all no sound only slight speaker pop when turned on.
board came of flat tv parts co.uk all number match up.
just to clarify its the mainboard i have now fitted which has solved the no led issues but now have no picture no sound looks like 24volts to inverter board is spot on just cant figure out why only have 2 volts on the 3.4-on board socket marking just going try with 1 k resistor as a load and see what the voltage is then

Hi Vince,
I wouldnt go swapping your parts over just yet until you have properly found out what it supplying to your mainboard. If you have bought it as working then the last thing you want to do is end up with 2 power supply's in bitsLeave a comment:

Re: LG 32lc46 totaly dead
I have been looking at the main board - there are two switches and a large jumper
- any idea what these do - does it say on the case back or inside the case back.
Could not spot anything in the SMLeave a comment:

Re: LG 32lc46 totaly dead
Mainboard should be okay if model & panel is the same. Is your LCD panel an LG Philips?
Is there an ACD pin?Leave a comment:

Re: LG 32lc46 totaly dead
right whilst i am trying to locate the correct main board i thought i would sort out the old power supply as in post 53 which budm was helping me test voltages etc right accros the capacitor as in your pdf test ponts its 13.8 volts and between the other two test points its 2.4v
i have checked and the board still has the 2x5volts present nothing else on any of the out put voltages even with a 1k resistor as a load.
also i cant locate the correct main board with the same ebr number on but i have found a lg42lc46 mines a lg32lc46 would you guys take a gamble on it working ok?
as its out of a 10inch larger lcd would the picture still be ok? could i alter it in the sets on board service mode?Last edited by vinceroger69; 03-24-2012, 11:25 AM.Leave a comment:

so it looks like i have
4.66 input
0.11 output
output goes to +2.5v ddr-ctz whats that?
also where does the voltage to light the leds come from?Last edited by vinceroger69; 03-23-2012, 08:09 AM.Leave a comment:

pin 5 0.78
its a sc156515m-1 8tr

by AcnologiaHere is a pretty crazy one.
Step 1.
Laptop was brought to me as dead not working. Removed everything , cleared everything.
Step 2.
Some liquid damage close to the Type - C connector, and the connector even though it was cleaned wasn't charging the battery . Removed the Type-C port, and replaced it. Now the laptop turns on and charges battery. Shows external screen , not internal.
Step 3.
Took out the screen and checked it to a secondary Gen 2 i have, screen works like a charm.
Step 4.
Lets ,dive into the board. I see the edp cable on the... -
by double_DDHi all,
As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?
I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.
Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard... -
by disorderhello guys,
i need help to repair a edm-033 ps2
history : as always hdmi port and usb ports destroyed after unplugged
after change them, ps5 dead too : 1 beep, no blue light. after inspection 1.8v power was shorted, and because of dead panasonic chip. after remove it : no short anymore
so i changed it
now i have got 5v stby,, 3.3v stby, 3.3v power, 1.8v power and no short on them
but the ps5 is dead again : 1 beep, near 10 seconds with power lines and then off, no blue light ...
i don't see any projection of liquid metal on pcb.

Hi there, I need help with the diagnostic on this board (NM-D563 Rev2.0).
I could not find schematics nor boardview for it.
The laptop was working, playing game when it suddenly crashed. Thermal paste is good and fans are clean. Since then, when power gets plugged in the laptop tries to come on (led lights light up, on off button lights up CPU and GPU warm up) for a minute or so before shutting down. No Display, no beeps no flashing led
There's no liquid damage. I've checked the board under the microscope and can't find any damaged components. I've checked...06-24-2025, 04:26 AM -
Hello everyone hope all doing well!
I have this PSU (GPS450-AA delta oem) around for like 4-5 years and I had it recapped early 2020 or 2021 with mostly UCC KY and Nichicon PW's. The bulk was and still is fine, the original Ltec's were bloated and empty. The previous issue was some major coil whine noise and at times random shutdowns when going idle. Today it started tripping the mains breaker and I think I have dead APFC mosfets (20N60C3). Right now upon checking I have the Q1 and Q3 FETs dead so far and I guess those are responsible for the PFC circuit. The only thing I care is If there...3 Photos - Loading...
