Vizio VX37L HDTV 10ABlack vertical lines on right side

Hi I have a 37"vizio model # VX37L hdtv 10A , No sound no pic , It has black screen with vertical lines ,I took the back cover off and looked over the power supply did not see any thing unusual , the back light is on when it is power up but has to to shut down by removing the wall plug.

I measure the voltage on the P/S while the TV is on with my Dmm and I
get the following voltage measurement.
All 24V is measured 24.53
A voltage is 1.40V
B voltage is 3.56 V
5 voltage is 5. V
Ps on is 3.50
12 volts is 12.2

I have noticed that if I remove the harness from the Tcon board and plug it back in those lines will move over to the left of the screen.Here is a few picture of what the lines look like.
I have a fair amount of electronics knowledge and I can do some component repair if pointed in the right direction.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Do those line show up with the on screen menu like setup?

I have seen this problem before and it was a T-con fault.

Do Retiredcaps check first, though.

For Retiredcaps I did not try it with the menue but I will try it this morning and post back.

For Tom66 I have seen an article where it has pointed to the tcon board, however I saw a Tcon board on Ebay for $25.00 I was lucky that the board was located right here in St.Pete I called up the fella and he pulled it off Ebay I will pick it up this morning and install it then see what gives.

Ok Guys since my last post last night I picked up the Tcon board from a local fella , installed it and power up with my remote ,I was hoping for a little miracle, sorry guys no miracle today .

With the other Tcon board now I get vertical lines over the entire screen any one with any suggestion what I should try next.

By the way the PS is maintaining all the right voltage as i mention in my first post. I had to take the pic of the screen left half and right half was difficult to get the whole screen in one shot and hold the TV up at the same time
The TV does not respond to the remote control except for power on

It looks like you did not seat the ribbon cables correctly between the T-CON and the LCD panel, try resting them again, also try using contact cleaner on the connectors.

Budm I went to sleep last night with the ribbon cable on my mind , I am going to look into it this morning and will post later.

After spending about 2 hours messing around with the ribbon cable I just cannot fix the vertical lines on the screen, I kept on swapping tcon board
no luck, I open for any suggestion.
