I just found this info on a PDP 42v7 module service manual should I adjust the

Yes all fuses are ok , no picture , no sound . the side fuse is good I measure 187v, fuse at bottom measure 65.3v and the ceramic fuse measure 5.3vLeave a comment:

Working on this Zenith plasma TV model #Z42PX2d, On power on the led light blinks 12 times and stay solid green,screen is black . the control board has a red and green led light on . Va voltage is 65v and Vs is 187v all other voltages are present from the power supply that supply the various boards , how can i tell if the IPM is bad or which one .... -
can someone please help me as i landed to this website and i see alot of smart people here.. unfortunately since my account is new and yes i have read the welcoming thread i cannot post a new thread as of yet so i am posting here for some help...
46L5200U - C toshiba 42" LED
when the tv is turned on all is normal and via antenna left it on over 1 hour and no problems. but when i circle to media player or connect hdmi the video feed is on for 3 secs approx then flickers 3 to 4 times and led goes black. audio is still functional with black screen.

Looks like the main board your friend bought from ebay were starting to go bad also , On your original board you do have a corrupt eeprom , the cheapest way to start is to replace the eeprom on your original board and see , 2nd option is the tcon board , I am not an expert but have done some eeprom work before and came out successfully every time , great forum i have learn so much here.Leave a comment:

Many times over I would remove the eeprom from the main Board and see if I can get a read from it ,If you do then get your self a new eeprom and do a write on it and place it back on the board and see how it work.

Sorry If you are confused Budm ,the only time I can see the 12 and 24 volts is when I jump the ps/on to 5v . when I remove the jumper I do not see the 12v nor the 24 v ,Leave a comment:

Update , Chip has arrived today LM1084 which is a replacement for 0809 UL
Installed it and Did not find any change it is showing In 5.08v, out 2.508V, adj 1.258V ,still cannot get 12V to main board , also did jump the( ps-on to 5v) again to make sure that the P/S is still putting out 12V all voltage on P/S are correct
24V = 24.27v
12v =12.01v
5v = 5.01v
A = .056
B= .023
C = .000
Big chip under the heat sink is getting very hot, hotter than the normal...Leave a comment:

Conformed ps/on voltage is .035 v ,I do have 12v , 24v when I disconnect the main board cables and use jumper on ps/on to 5v .
Any way i have ordered the LM1084 adj from Mouser so we will see what the results will be within a week or so .
