Vizio VU42LF Broken Screen

Been doing some searching for a parts manual. Hoping to find what other TV brand panel might work? The VX prefix seems to be the prevalent listing.

TV does come on and can see the input screen. There is a used panel on ebay that I want to know if it would work.

good price, but i would be scared to install that being sold as "i guess it should work hope we diagnosed it right"

busted screen tvs get junked man. Not worth the time and effort, sell the boards or keep them for use later when you find a dead set with bad boards but a good screen. Ive been saving the ccfls out of them too.

I agree. Bought it planning on parting it out. But it's so pretty...would look great hanging on my wall!

Pull it apart and check the sticker on the back of the panel and see if it's the same panel number.
