    Westinghouse SK-32H240S Continued problems

I have been working on a 32" Westinghouse TV and so far I have replaced the inverter transformer and some of the badcaps that I found.

What is unusual is that after replacing the bad components the TV still won't work. When I turn it on it shows the logo then goes black, then, if I leave it on the picture will show up for a second, then goes black again.

The capacitors I replaced may not be the right ESR or ripple current rating.

The old caps were CapXons and the two I replaced were a 2200uF 10v GF 105 C P733 VENT, and a KY 16 v 1000uF (M)105 C 7(7) 8e. Any Links fro finding the specs for these caps would be greatly appreciated. Replaced with 2200 uF, PL(M) nichicon and a 1000 uF FM Matsushita Panasonic cap.

I also replaced a 5D 3KV, blue ceramic capacitor that was reading 9 pF instead of 5 pF

In the pictures i have circled the parts I replaced and would like to know where to go next in trouble shooting this board?

After updating motherboard capacitors, what to do next (Asrock K7VT2, SOLTEK SL-75FRN2L)
    by dragon3x
Hi, I have some 32 bits computer motherboards that need repair, as they fail to
    power on.

    Here are some examples :

(N.B. "capacitors" indicated here are electrolytic capacitors located in the onboard
    switching supply area).
    (N.B. #2 : I could not find a 3300 microF aluminum-polymer with a higher voltage
    than 6.3 V.)

1 - Motherboard #1 : this is an Asrock K7VT2 (socket A) that still works well. To put it on test
    I replaced capacitors with aluminum-polymer.
    3300 microF/6.3 V. x 4 replaced by 3300 microF/6.3 V. (KYOCERA...

    USB problems?
    by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

MSI MS-16W1 no power, EC replaced by other.
    by MicroSMD Lab
Hi, I'm working on a MSI laptop, Motherboard number MS-16W11, GF-65 Thin 10SDR-459US. Went to another shop because the screen was flickering, but it was working well on an external monitor. The LCD was ordered and the laptop was returned to the customer and it no longer worked. It was then sent to another tech (by the shop who ordered the LCD) and the EC (ENE KB9028Q) was replaced with a donor from another MSI board with different board number and no programming was done. It looks like work was done on PU6 (TPS51225) as well as one of the GPU mosfets was burnt (I removed all three GPU mosfets)....
