Re: Samsung 65" UE65TU7000KXXU VER:02/UTU7000 TV Blue screen

Update: The lvds is perfectly fine, I have tested it with the beep test (continuity) every pin.
What I have found out is that on both of the ribbon stripes CSF01, the pin highlighted in the picture did not pass the beep test, on both of them there is no continuity. Could this be it? Please see the photo.

I know that if the caps beeps when I use the multimeter, in most occasions its a bad capacitor.
I also know that if I set the multimeter to 20k to check the ohms and the value is not going from 0 to higher, that's also a bad cap.
Correct / guide me if I am wrong please. Thanks

It should, but at least one of the u ribbon should be good, while both of mine have that highlighted pin not connected to each other. We can see from the picture that the highlighted area shows a thicker connection between the pins, which I think it's meant to lead power between them. What i think is that The lvds delivers the power to the lower board and from there, the u ribbons are supposed to take it to the display. Does that make any sense? I can't find a better explanation.

But the photo shows that this pin is a dummy, there is no conductor.

this is wrong theory... never being 2 U ribbon defect at same area.... your eyes are tired.. i wrote don't trust your glasses.. only magnifier or telescope can see if there are wrong with pins.
or you bought this TV as it is now !!!..
from the photos you posted before we can see the U ribbon cable both side look like larger than original they didn't sitting normally flat.. but there curve and this should never happened with U ribbon. .. they should Flat connected between the tow parts if panel side buffer boards.

I have no idea how these ribbon cable should be inside the tv, you definitely have more experience than I do. If I bought the tv as it is, that's for sure, I haven't touched it before developing this issue. Then I believe it might have been fixed before as when I bought it , it wasn't brand new. I will look for a magnifier and go over them again.

I thunk you are right. Since none of the cables (lvds, u ribbon) seems to be damaged, I have taken the risk and bought the pcb board off ebay. I will update this post as soon as I get it changed and hopefully fixed. Thanks to all for involving and helping.

Will replacing the pcb board but (theoretically) having bad u ribbon or lvds cable , damage it again?

I am not sure where did you read that I bought the PWB ? I said I bought the PCB board , hopefully will put my hands on it tomorrow. Why? Because there was nothing else to try. Where? Ebay. Lucky, I know, only one piece on the whole ebay.

Terminology, pcb=printed circuit board, includes powerboard and mainboard, just call them what they are mainboard has the video/audio inputs, powerboard supplies the power.

PCB = PWB= Power circuit Board
                              you mean MB Main Board

My bad then, when I say PCB I refer to a board with the whole circuitry/components, whereas when I use PWB, I simply mean the power board. So yeah, I bought the main board.

I’m pretty sure it’s the panel that’s bad. I don’t think mainboard is going to fix it. As I mentioned a lot of he TU series have bad panel

It might aswell be, but I can only know if I'll try. With all the cables connected, while changing the channels I can see thr screen changing its lights from normal blue to darker, whilst with the lvds off, the screen stands blue. With all of this being considered and with some luck, I would like to think that it is a mainboard problem more than a display problem.
As i said, i am no professional but is more likely the mainboard as it is what controls the signal output to the screen via the LVDS.
