no you' ve not understood, the faulty part of the screen is the right part, so you have to put tape only on right half and not so, you start from far of side and shift 1 pin per time only not 8.. but only 8 pins covered..Comment

Some lines can have no influence, the lines to be blocked are the clock lines usually are 8 but can be less, check on the screen's small boards if there are test points named CKVxxx you can also discover to which pins are connected by using multimeter..Comment

And how can I find them? I mean, there are no markings on the small boards, just the capacitor numbers C- etcComment

after going back to yours Photo
it look for me half buffer issue which it caused by didn't match firmware with Panel. there are SPI on the panel it keep "safe" parameter from yours old MB firmware..would be written back to match by Hard reset from MB or update / downgrade firmware on yours replacement MB.Comment

Re: Samsung 65" UE65TU7000KXXU VER:02/UTU7000 TV Blue screen
Problem solved ! The tv has finally been repaired.
Solutions:
1: changed the main board , this way I went from having a permanent blue screen with sound to having image + sound but lines on screen.
2. Checked every single one of the capacitors and resistors on the bottom boards, no luck.
3. Covered the first 8 pins of the first part from the left side of the u ribbon, one by one until the total of 8 pins, no luck, i even went up to 15 pins, no change.
4. The fourth and the final step, the solution itself, was the decision of trying to cover the pins from right part of the u ribbon, which are located on the same socket, but on the right side. I started with covering one pin and when I got to cover the 7th pin, the image was 90% clear. Just a few lines on the top but barely noticeable. Because I wasn't happy enough, I have decided to go more, one by one ,until the 15th pin where the image was perfect.
I have covered the pins with normal transparent tape, as the black insulation tape was too thick and I couldn't stick the u ribbon back in. Hopefully, this tape will last at the board temperature . Fingers crossed.
Thanks to all for your help. I have gained so much information over here. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Really appreciate it !Comment

Re: Samsung 65" UE65TU7000KXXU VER:02/UTU7000 TV Blue screen
Hi everyone.
I had to reopen this thread as now I've encountered another problem with the tv.
Basically the tv works but the brightness Is at its lowest possible and the screen flickers. I can see the image in the dark room but only then. I have tried to lower the brightness and also turned the automatic brightness off.
The things I've tested are:
-plugged of the pcb and start the tv, but still same issue
-started the tv without the led connected plugged in, same
-tested the power that comes out from the power board to the led connector. I am getting 286v on the first pin 1+ and just that, the rest shows 0 voltage. With or without the led connector in.
Is this likely to be the power board needs replacing?
Please see the image attached with the power board.
ThanksComment

by mar1inHi everyone,
I've got this Samsung here that would be stuck in a boot loop.
After opening up and doing the tape block method, I was able to get it to turn on and play sound from the HDMI input, but with a blue screen.
Does that mean there is another combination of pins that I need to block in order to get a picture, or is there something more serious, faulty mainboard or faulty panel?
Thanks in advance -
by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by ChrissygizmoHello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
by ChrissygizmoHi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -
by bohabohaHi it looks like everything works don't know where to test except the 390v in the 2 capacitor in the hot side of the power supply and the weird 180v in the diodes in the cold side that should be discharged it is writin on the circuit no more you can read what is written on the circuit quite srrange color mixiing yellow and white
anyhow i couldn't t read anything else
the backlight is on strong and the screen does not get dark or very dark but no pictures
the mainborad feels a bit hott on the black part i test it to 52 degree's against 34 to 40 on the rest of it
