    Recapping old FSP-250-60GTV

I'm recapping an old FSP PSU right now.

The Problem is that the unit has some 1uF caps but I don't have them, only 2,2uF ones. Can I replace those 1uF with 2,2uF ones?

I'd stick with 1uF. Or use two 2.2uF in series to get half capacitance / twice the voltage rating.

You could also probably hack it with a ceramic capacitor in series with a suitable resistor (to simulate the esr) .. a 1uF electrolytic would probably have something like 5-10 ohm esr so something around that value in series with a ceramic capacitor with suitable voltage rating would probably work.
But it's a bit trickier with ceramic capacitors as the capacitance also varies with the voltage so the voltage rating must be much higher than the actual voltage in circuit for them to be 1uF or close to 1uF.

Thanks, that's what I was expecting, just wanted to be sure...

Wanted 1uF but Reichelt didn't have 1uF Electrolytics...

Yes they do. But they don't specify the manufacturer or series of the cap...

Well, I think of them more like the Poundland of Electronics. Though sometimes they have (had) some really awesome things for even more awesome prices. Like the Delta DPS-500QB for 14,95€. And other Fujitsu components...

I've found some capacitors @ Conrad wich was rather expansive but Voelkner seems to have some Würth parts...
But they are rather expansive - 11 and 14 cents (or more)...
And the Teapo/Yageo S5 parts don't seam reasonable replacements for this Jamicon parts...
