Thanks a lot for all the suggestions ...
The complexity of adding 3 additional 18650 cells in parallel to the UPS has put me off ... as there are too many critical variables to be taken care of and the amount of time/effort required for getting something called stable. To be honest I am scared to take any chances with Charging/Discharging LI-Ion batttery circuits.
My only other option is to get a battery case for 3 x 21700 5Ah cells and pull each parallel connection from the UPS and Connect it to the respective battery terminals. This is the safest I thought.

So this seems a bit tricky ... I have 6 x 18650 (3000 mAh) in parallel going to the UPS charge circuit which has inbuilt parallel charge circuit for 3 x18650 cells.
if I have to manually balance the other 3 cells in parallel separately then I am stuck.
... Because balancing the cell individually while at the same time they are connected in parallel (and live) to the UPS.
Are there any BMS modules that do this? If so then how to connect it...

The ups takes 3 x 18650 cells in Parallel - Can I extend to 6 x 18650 safely?
I need help to extend the runtime of the ups board (see attached image).
This is ups board for a CM4 which has 3 18650 cells in parallel. Can I extend the 3 cells to 6 cells for a longer runtime? by soldering a wire to each of the battery terminal and connecting it to a separate battery case with 6 cells.
Thanks and kind regards,

Ground Plane For 5dBi ISM Band 865-870Mhz Embedded Ceramic Antenna
TAOGLAS ANTENNA MODEL: ISPC.86A.09.0092E
The specs says ...
High antenna efficiency 868MHz ISM Band
5dBi Peak (when placed on 30cm x30cm ground plane) - Broadside to Zenith Radiation Pattern
The antenna is 50x50 mm square and How do I fix it on the Ground Plane of 300 x 300 mm (aluminium sheet 3mm thick).
1. Should I Fix it with a glue.
2. Should I fix it with a double side adhesive tape
3. Should I fix it with Screws (the screw head may just clamp the antenna to the aluminium...

Thanks Great Sage for posting the prodalizer image. Oh Great! then I need only 2x330uF caps on each side ... I initially thought I need to put 3 x 330uF caps on each side for 'Nec Tokin 0E907' .... A bit of relief as I could only find 5 of them (removed from Macbook Pro Pcb - Img.8), and I was literally searching for the 6th piece. I will try it in a hour or so and get back to you.
By the way the I measured the terminals of the Cap in question (image 6) and also shared an images of both sides of the pcb from where it was removed..May be this will help to find some details on the ...Last edited by Chaks; 09-13-2024, 07:51 AM.

Thanks Great Sage.
What's cap in Image 3. It has 3 terminals. If I have to solder it in the place of NEC Tokin pads, Do I need to solder the edges of the capacitor to the '+' sides and the center of the capacitor to the center pad .. with a wire ... will it work?.
Is this capacitor a tantalum type ... tried searching but could not find any info....

NEC TOKIN 0E907 Fault in Toshiba L510 Laptop - Can I use any of these caps
Hi,
My old Toshiba L510 Laptop which was working fine with Ubuntu 22 Server till couple of days back. But suddenly I got a blank screen with fan spinning and no HDD activity. I tried all options and zeroed to a suspected/faulty NEC TOKIN.
So I removed the faulty NEC TOKIN 0E907 and want to know if I can use the capacitors I have salvaged from old Motherboard. These caps are from old Mackbook Pro Motherboard and I am not sure if any of these caps will work.
Can anyone please guide me....

Re: LG 26LE5300 Boot Loop after power surge hit
Referring to the connector P7501
... the Pin 14 is at 3.3 volts when the TV is switched on (blue std_by light) this pin is Error_Out (output) to IC LGE 101D Error_Out (input at gpio 41).
This Pin 14 is at 3.3 volts even when the P7501 connector is not connected to the LCD_PANEL.
Pin 14 is at 0.9 volts when the tv is in std_by red light mode.
Pin 13 is at 1.03 volts when the tv is in std_by red light mode.
When the tv is completely off the Pin 14 to pcb Gnd measures 5.0Mega...

Re: LG 26LE5300 Boot Loop after power surge hit
When the TV is connected to the ac using adapter the standb red led is ON and the optical output on the back of the tv usually glows red but in my case the optical output on my TV is off. The optical lack J1103's vcc pin does not have power. That's why I suspect that some part of the PCB is not getting power which is supposed to be there even when the TV in on standby mode. There is power in the USB ports of the TV.. In most of the TV's I have seen the standby led and the optical jack are red.In the present case it is not. That's what...

Re: LG 26LE5300 Boot Loop after power surge hit
I get the Vgs 10.8 volts on the a03407A G-S but only for a couple of seconds. The +15 Volts control chart in the service manual page 35.
I checked all the voltages as per the service manual charts on page 35. There are two areas Power-Det and 24-volt->15 volt chart where the readings does not match.
in power detect IC7510 vcc pin is not reading +3.5_ST but the IC7509 vcc pin measures +3.5_ST.
The other issue is that in 24-volt->15 volt control chart. the R7540 reads 32k Ohms only. the other resistors are...Last edited by Chaks; 12-18-2018, 12:05 PM.

Testing reset IC ncp803sn293 & 2sc3052 NPN Transistor
I am trying to trouble shoot the power-detect part of the circuit see attached images and my readings are as below. can anyone suggest me if the IC and NPN transistor is working properly. The TV resets automatically when switched on.
Q7502 2sc3052 npn transistor has the following readings.
Base +lead to emitter -lead = 0.6v
Base +lead to collector -lead =0.6v
Emitter +lead to base -lead =over limit
Collector +lead to base -lead = over limit
Collector +lead to emitter -lead = 0.98 volts
Emitter +lead to collector -lead = 0.68 volts...

Re: LG 26LE5300 Boot Loop after power surge hit
Can anyone please help me with the main board PCB of lg TV 26le5300. I want to compare my PCB with an actual working PCB to see if any components are missing on the PCB. Is there any complete service manual for the TV . please help.
Image of both sides of working PCB is what I need at least.Last edited by Chaks; 12-16-2018, 03:52 AM.
