The interesting thing in that article is not that these PSUs are junk, but that they are essentially repackaged used PSUs.
It seems the Chinese have found a new way to make cheap power supplies. -

I see one (Delta) with Live/Neutral leads which have been cut with new leads going to an IEC connector...My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.Comment
