    Fantastic stuff. Titaninum (sic) too!

Is that nichicon for real, I wonder, being next to a Rulycon? Then again, it is just about the only cap that isn't bulged.

REAL PC POWER's website is offline, it says temporarily, but I think they will be offline forever!

Another POWMAX re-brand, and is that Nichicon next to that bad Rulycon a real Nichicon, a question that somebody else asked.

I don't see the main transformer - so it must be so small crap that it's hidden behind the heatsink.

Indeed. 450 Watts. They're not lying - that's the power it pulls from the wall socket once it malfunctions.

Well, at least it has the line-side RFI filters. It should be good for 200W after recapping. BTW, the vent on the 3300/16 Nichicon looks slightly suspect - the scoring is too wide and prominent.

where are the pi filter's coil?

yes, it has but input filters is without Cx capacitors. uh-oh.
i usually add one or two 220nF capacitor (type X2, matsushita) to that empty place.

that Nichicon HE looks okay. it sure is a surprise to see them in a realpcpowder psu. or probably kc8 has recapped it one cap when he took the pics .. (or not?)...

i can see where the 450W number comes from. hmmm...let me sum all the wattage on all that rails including the negative and +5sb ones, and i get,..wait.... 434.3W?

                  bad math.

Hmm.... There's a UL logo on there. I never knew any Powmax/Leadman to have a UL and Real PC Power didn't UL it themselves. I wonder what that listing is, if it's legit at all of course.
Rest in peace BFG. You were... a job...

UL logo without any number, isn't it illegal?

there are a few annoying people on the various forums but no sense to take part of the site down because of them. I am sure that the larger percentage of visitors are highly appreciative of the long hours of work put into the site. I know i certainly am. Fact of life is that the happy people are usually quiet and the retards/flamers make the most noise. Certainly it would be a great loss if jonny stopped doing what are actually the most reliable and quality psu reviews on the net.
