        Hello everyone,
I have a Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL that is not working correctly and I suspect a corrupted BIOS. I would greatly appreciate your expertise in helping me repair my BIOS dump file.
        Laptop Details:
Model: Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL
        Motherboard Model: FLV34 LA-K051P REV:1B
        Serial Number (S/N): MP255LNT
        MTM (Machine Type Model): 20VD003BRU
        Problem Description:
The laptop has a black screen on power-up. The power LED lights up, and the fans spin, but there is no display on the screen . I have tried basic troubleshooting like reseating RAM, trying different RAM, and connecting an external monitor, pressing power button within a 60 sec etc, but the issue persists.

        Thank you in advance, Alex.

          Hello, Volinakis!
Thank you for your help. The fact is that the symptoms are the same before and after flashing. I also compared the BIOS files in "WinHex". The only difference is between the "U29" files. The "UC12" files are the same (please see the attachment). Maybe "UC12" was accidentally sent the same one?
          Best regards, Alex.

nope, I used intel flash image tool to fix ME Region and bios image was split by the software.

volinakis No need to use FIT to clean ME on this one, just extract the BIOS from Lenovo website and split the 24MB file, first 0x800000 go to the 8MB chip, it contains Descriptor+ME region (already "Configured"), the rest 0x1000000 goes to 16MB chip

              n40mail try this

              BIOS ver F8CN59WW

              MTM 20VD003BRU
              DMI 20000-207FF (on 16MB file)

              Flash both 8MB (64) and 16MB (128) chips

Yes really, extract the f8cn59ww.exe from Lenovo website with innoextract, then extract the second F8CN59WW.exe with platomav's BIOSUtilities from github, you'll get a 24MB .bin that has to be split

Couldn't find password in your BIOS unlike previous BIOSes in this thread, try flashing clean BIOS + DMI/Win key inserted

                            ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL Laptop - Type 20VD
                            BIOS ver F8CN41WW

                            Win key 92000-9203F

Flash only the 16MB chip if you only want to remove password, the 8MB chip contains Intel ME region; full BIOS is 24MB split in 2 chips 8MB+16MB, if your laptop boots fine not needed to flash 8MB (clean ME), I'm uploading it in case someone needs that version

                              Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                              Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                              Initial Findings:
                              • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                              • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                              • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                              Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                              • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.

                              Hi all,

I got a Lenovo Thinkbook 16P G2 ACH on the bench with a botched BIOS (somehow my client blanked it). I restored the laptop and got it up and running with original BIOS from Lenovo Support website.
My problem is now that the machine details are missing in the BIOS (Serial Number, MTM, etc.)
I tried to write the details with the Lenovo Uone Tool but had now luck. It is giving me an error: "ERROR: Locate protocol with LenovoEeprom, Status=[e]. EEPROM fail when reading or writing data."
I am now asking here for help if anyone knows how to do this in...

                              Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                              History:

                              1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...
