Unfortunately I see no changes, but I have extra information: when I connect the battery and turn on the computer, after a while the LED on the front shows the following sequence: 2 amber, 1 white
According to Dell's manual this indicates CPU failure... can we exclude a BIOS issue or do you want to provide another binary I can test?

Thank you, your BIOS is working perfectly (and probably the other ones I flashed too).
The issue was indeed the CPU, which was actually being supplied with ~1V but appeared to be dead. I solved it with a proper reflow.
I hope this is helpful for anyone in the same situation.
