The bios you posted is empty and only has 4Mb...it should have 16 MB...make a new copy and post again..

Thats what came out from the programmer from the original BIOS, maybe thats why it was bad? I flashed it with the new BIOS anyways so it is lost. Is there a way i can configure a new BIOS from the start?

You selected wrong chip model MX25U3235F (that's what the file name says), the BIOS chip should have 25*128 on its name (16 MB)
Your first backup is full of FF FF FF .... the chip was not read properly or erased before
Try again, select the correct chip model, if you have a 74M12JW select W25Q128JW on your programmer software
Flash post 52 as is (select the correct BIOS chip model first), you don't have a good original backup to transfer the DMI from, Laptop should boot and display INVALID serial/MTM/model name so you have to use Golden Key to enter model/serial/MTM after laptop boots

I flashed BIOS from post 52 with W25Q128JW selected, but still same behavior from the laptop. I notice the power button starts flashing as soon as i press it, possible bad CPU?

                            Here are the device details:
                            • IdeaPad 3 15ALC6
                            • MTM: 82KU00WEIX
                            • S/N: PF3RKDL2

I apologize, this is what happened. I’d like to understand how to proceed.

There was a Windows update that also updated the BIOS to version GLCN68WW, and from that moment the laptop no longer boots.

I need to flash the BIOS on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (it powers on, the keyboard backlight briefly turns on, the power button keeps blinking, the rest of the keys remain lit, and the CPU gets warm).

I’ve read the guides but honestly I understood very little—I’m not an expert.

I managed to trigger crisis mode and I tried flashing a few .bin files, but the USB drive only blinks for a moment and then stops. The fans spin up, but nothing else happens. I think I’m doing something wrong.

I tried downloading version GLCN52WW, extracted it, renamed the BIOS.cap file to BIOS.bin and placed it on the USB drive — still nothing.

Then I tried removing the header (resulting in an 8192KB file), saved it as BIOS.bin, but again nothing.

I also tried some .bin files posted by other users in threads about the same 82KU model, but no luck.

                            What else could I try?

You need a hardware programmer to read the existing contents of the BIOS chip
BIOS chip is 1.8V, make sure programmer supports 1.8V chips otherwise you will damage it

I don’t have a SPI programmer, and honestly I wouldn’t even know how to hook it up or read the current BIOS contents.
Is there really no way to overwrite the BIOS without reprogramming the EEPROM directly?
Can’t it be done using Lenovo’s crisis mode?

Here's your New bios file, it's a virgin bios from Lenovo with your DMI so it should works fine.
Next time find your device thread or create your own.
                                  Thanks !!

                                        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                                        🧩 Initial Issue
                                        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                                        • External display (HDMI) shows

                                        Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

                                        Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...
