Hi all., can anyone do a cleanup for this Original BIOS dump file. With this original file, I see the White LED on the LHS glow up but still when I press the ON/OFF button on the keyboard, it does not turn on the motherboard, no increase of amp on the amp meter. I tried other BIOS dumps on this thread & other related threads, but believe it or not, NONE of them worked, the LED does not even glow in all other dumps. Mine is an ASUS AMD RYZEN 5., & on the keyboard connector pin 30 (Assuming this is the ON/OFF pin) I get 2.9v, is this ok??? Motherboard Part # X512DX Rev: 2.1 ... Thank youComment

Here's your New Bios, it's a Virgin Bios from ASUS with your DMI and Windows Key.
As @hoaca388 said before, see if you have any sticker on the motherboard contains (X512DA) or something else.
Also see if that Serial Number matching your Serial on the Laptop cover.

Just now I programmed the new BIOS on post #10, It did not work. With this BIOS version I do not get the 3.3V & 5v, all gone. But with the Original one which I posted in #8, I do get 3.3V & 5V, the LED glow WHITE but still when I press the ON/OFF button on the keyboard, the motherboard does not turn on. Where is the Older Version please inform me, I will surely try that one. Thanks for the help.Comment

@hardware1 thanks for the help, post #10 worked fine. Only my fault, I was programming on a 3v BIOS chip whereas I had to use a 1.8V chip. Once I got this chip, programmed the Bin Dump & all worked fine without any problem, really appreciate your help.Comment

Hello .
This is my original bios but with this one i have no start up. i have all the voltages on the coils exept cpu coils and white led. i belive that is corrupted from bios update.

I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would... -
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

Hi,
I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
