This is a new Acer BIOS with new hash code containing 8 digits. Whenever you type 3 wrong unlock keys, new hash code is generated...
Notebook is Acer A315-22, with AMD CPU.
I cleaned it and reflashed it and put in new BIOS password.
[B]bios.zip[/B] is with password: 123456
I did a couple of reboots with 3 times wrong unlock key.
[B]clean.zip[/B] is without password and without notebook info, downloaded from Acer website and extracted from exe.
If someone who knows what to do is willing to make a code generator, I...

No problem, I found very useful info here and this is my way of repaying. It took me a while to make this tutorial but I am glad I did.
Anyway, this method can be used on all notebooks, not just ASUS, with others you just have to know what to look for inside BIOS Region. With HP there are BID's (BIOS ID), search it with Hex app and check which BIOS ID you have and need. Sometimes when extracting exe files from manufacturer website you will get only BIOS Region, sometimes ME Region as well with it in separate...Leave a comment:

With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This BIOS you posted is from HP 840 G1 notebook, serial number of the notebook is CNU4249NNR.
Which is right? 840 G1 or 840 G3?

The thing is that their boss doesn't want to buy chip from any supplier in the Huaqiang marketplace in ShenZhen. He only acquires and sells IC's of good and proven quality. That is the reason they don't offer every chip.
I went to the marketplace myself, and there is every chip you can think of there, but you don't know what you're buying.
Goldenchipset (HKLRF) sold me refurbished chips while I was in China marketed as brand new... Then I went to SEE-IC and saw their brand new chips (same ones), difference was obvious....Leave a comment:

I only buy from SEE-IC and I have been at their office 3 times. I visit them once every year. One more secret (they will also tell you), they give even better prices when you come visit them in person.

The KBC's on ASUS boards get programmed when the board turns on. I tried it myself on a couple of ASUS boards. I used the programmer to write blank file into the KBC. After first power on, I than turned off the motherboard and read the KBC. All the KBC's were programmed from the BIOS successfully.
Most other motherboards need the KBC to be programmed, either they won't turn on, or won't get all the voltages, etc...
In my knowledge, but I may be wrong, programmable KBC's are following:

I am looking to buy a better and faster one, but not wanting to spend a lot more money. This one is good for now, but I think I will need something better in near future.
