hello every one
i have dell g5 15 5500
mainboard Selek g3 mlk n18p 19795-1
Service Tag: 2LWMG63
it had short circuit on gpu mosfet
after replacing it came to life but stuck on logo
tried whith to flash another ec.bin it worked but fan are very loud and it shut down after afew minute
can any one fix my ec bios
i uploded both ec and main

is there a way to provide the correct Service Tag from this dump files?
i think the bin on the main chip is corrupted and the Tags on the case are faded too 😢

Hello guys, i hope i get the help i need here,
I had displays problems with my laptop, it's a Dell G5 15 5500, i took it to some "expert", the display is fine now, while i look at the bios setup, i have the wrong one (screenshot taken) , it shows that i have the G3 3500 with no service tag and asset tag, i guess the expert resetted it and installed another bios?
Hope my problem is well explained, can anyone help me get my laptop setup to its default configuration?

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. Hi, I have a problem while updating the bios 1.27.0. After that the display went off & the bios states as Dell Inspiron 3505 in the F2 boot > bios > Device when I plug into a secondary monitor. As I don't have any experience in bios, request you to please help me to flash the Vostro bios as they share the common motherboard (GDI53 LA-K037P).

I'm currently fixing two different Dell latitudes,
I need a E5550 BIOS - SERVICE TAG is: FSFB262
So far I flashed about 6 BIOS from this forum already,
none worked,
only fan spin ~3s, LCD black, keyboard LED on/off ok,
I tried manual extraction with scripts for ages so to speak. VM is untried yet.
This laptop is not burnt, it seems to just have a corrupted BIOS.
I extra baught ram. This has to work friends.
Do you generate it this way in Windows in CMD?:

Working on a Dell 5340 new Intel 13th gen with a corrupt bios flash.
Worked good before failed flash now won't power at all.
May have been a bad connection.
Want to get a clean rebuild bios like new motherboard so can input Service Tag on bootup.
