The password removal is only to give access to the BIOS settings on the first boot... In Security enter a new password under administrator, save and exit. Restart the computer, enter your new password, then change it to the blank field. save and exit.

                                    Hi,
Panasonic FZ-M1. Asks for password on boot.
This is Haswell so old trick with AMITSESetup doesn't work.

                                    From sticker:
                                    Model: FZ-M1CCAACE3 ( = mk1)
                                    Serial: 6ETCA72551
                                    PCB: DFUP2291ZF FJ-TH7
