No such option visible in menus. But there's i2cTouchPanel DXE driver, as well as some strings like Touch Panel Support Enable / Disable exposing of HID (PNP0C50) in ACPI ASL code to OS... so not sure, maybe?
Nothing in SetupUtility though.
On the other hand see the attachment. Left is Intel variant, right is AMD. And indeed pins 1-10 are open line, not even ground on pin 1. Thus even if TS support existed at some point I don't think it made it into a final PCB.

And unfortunately disappointed. There's no trace of touch screen except on 1st page LCD connector is the same as on intel model, just touch screen pins are not used. And there's non used I2C lane on CPU.
Wonder if that was removed during development, or just editorial error...
Oh well, no touch screen for me.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14are05 DA0LS3MBAF0 - looking for schematics.
As in topic, I'm looking for schematics (and boardview if available) for Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14are05. Board model is DA0LS3MBAF0.
Turns out AMD variant never had touchscreen option while Intel had. And cover page of that schematics available on Google suggests it supported it at one point.
I happened to have intel TS display cable and a touch LCD... wondering what's missing to enable it (display works fine, but without touch)...

What are you trying to do? What decoupling caps? Where did you get 5v and 1.8v?
For LPC you short data pin(s) to ground, not up...

As written in another thread, L14 G2 AMD, NM-D391 + NPCE68B works fine

That was likely incompatibility between bios image I flashed and EC, or the image was somewhat broken.
Reflashing this one clean didn't help. However I still had original BIOS backup (which was not booting), decided to flash it - first boot attempt was no signs of life except power led, 2nd - it booted fine and without that error

I know what I'm doing hardware-wise, just don't know what the software was doing.
Turns out I was looking in correct place, just my timing was wrong.
I can confirm it works on L14 G2 AMD, NM-D391 Thank you!
I won't spoil how - that's for you to share
Now I'm getting "boot configuration has been recovered by restoring backup" on every boot. No amount of resetting things, setting and removing passwords, etc. help with that.
But the machine was dead on arrival and I revived it with bios found on Badcaps - thus I think I need to grab a working...

In the past I tried to block communication from KBC by pulling down / up some signals but without success .
I have L14 G2 AMD, NM-D391 20X60S1Q400 PF-3ML8Y4 (assuming sticker / back plate comes from that unit).
It has the bad combo of both supervisor and power on password enabled.
Unfortunately I have only access to RT809H, so would definitely be interested with that method....

Looking for schematic / BV - Dell Wyse 5070 / Wistron San Bernardino 16561-1
Hi,
I wanted to modify 5070 board into 5070 extended variant (one with PCIe x4 soldered in) but from a few low quality photos I'm fairly sure there are more components missing than just the PCIe connector. Do any of you happen to have Wistron San Bernardino 16561-1 schematics and boardview available?

Thinkpad L14 G2 AMD (NM-D391) Power On / Supervisor password
Hey,
I just revived this motherboard (fixed no POST, thanks to a BIOS from this thread)
Now there's a supervisor password required on power on. It is stored likely in EC, which is Nuvoton NPCE68BPA0DX (sometimes misspelled as NPCE688).
I've seen some success on reading this chip in thread for Intel version of this laptop here.
I have access to RT809H programmer. Is there any chance of...Last edited by kitor; 09-12-2023, 08:49 AM.

Re: Dell Latitude 7390 - all power rails up except VCC_GT, no image.
Funny thing - even though TBT3 controller (JHL6340) is broken, it kinda works.
For future readers - there's a schematics available for 7280 (LA-E121P) which is based on older version of the same project - and TBT3 part is almost identical.
Issue is with 3.3V_TBT_SX (or VCC3P3_SX) which is to my understanding suspend power. After reconnecting PJP6, TBT3 IC gets quite hot instantly (even at suspend) but TBT3 bus works - I connected to a dock with no issues.
Interesting design...

Re: Dell Latitude 7390 - all power rails up except VCC_GT, no image.
Ok, I found the last piece of the puzzle.
After much measuring I found that +5V_PD_VDD is very low with battery/barrel plug power. I also noticed that 5V_TBT_VBUS is around 1V, which was interesting as in that power configuration, thunderbolt was inactive and this shouldn't happen.
Quick look into schematics determined DT2 diode as source of the problem. After replacement, laptop works fine on all three power types.
Just the TBT3 controller is left to be replaced later.

Re: Dell Latitude 7390 - all power rails up except VCC_GT, no image.
This weird behavior on USB C PSU led me to testing that part. Turned out UT7 was quite hot and giving around 3V instead of 5, UT8 was outputting around 1V instead of 3V3. Output of UT3 was around 12ohm to ground which was definitely bad.
I injected voltage to UT3 output and found out that Thunderbolt controller (UT1) is pulling around 0.3A and getting noticeably hot. After disconnecting power to UT1, machine boots from USB C power supply.
Still no boot from barrel plug or battery (same...Last edited by kitor; 07-27-2022, 03:02 AM.

Dell Latitude 7390 - all power rails up except VCC_GT, no image.
Hello,
I have Dell 7390, LA-F311P.
AFAIK there's no schematics available, but there's one for LA-F312P in this thread. It differs in no Thunderbolt controller (iirc that's for 5290/5390), however rest of the schematics/BV seems to match 1:1.
Behavior:
Connected barrel plug, no RAM:
- power LED turns on + orange light on front
- turns off after a second or two
Connected barrel plug, with RAM:
- power...Last edited by kitor; 07-26-2022, 10:09 AM.

Re: THINKPAD L390 password
Tried once again (after reflashing original dump, booting, reading it again and patching again). Still the same issue.
Autopatcher does not reset NVRAM (it can't find the volume), maybe this is an issue?
Anyway, I thought this whole thread exists because autopatcher doesn't work...
