Give me the markings of both chips, and service tag along with the suffix.

Original bios is lost.
You've programmed the above bios, and now laptop is up and running again, but the password is still present?

yes I lost the bios EC dump because I didn't save it, the second one (main bios) I didn't see it. Now with the 2 files you sent me I can't start the laptop with the adapter, I have to keep pressing the power button for 30sec, and with the batteries only the laptop turns on and off in 6sec with a black screen,it started up once or twice without a password, I don't know if this problem was already or after flashin that bios ECComment

I can confirm that your file is clean there is no password but the laptop is not functional, I can distinguish that the problem is in the EC bios file or a problem in the motherboard ... to be continuedComment

At least that's fine, if you're sure you've programmed both files without errors, just dont do anything for now, I will send you another files in a private message. If you didn't use verification and you are not sure about the content of the chips, do it again properly and try over again. Hi back to our subject, I'm still on the black screen only the power indicator light is on, maybe the bios chip(25q80c) is malfunctioning, before I could see the bios setup I was even able to set the date, after I wanted to install the system and I fell on a black screen after that I restarted and the same problem, I don't think I made a big mistake, maybe I put a bad flash,tanks mr Vesko for your explanation it's nice of you, if you have any other solution i would be very grateful to youComment

Finally, I am saving, I found a dump in the forume of a member named alihomee the file was the same as mine because I remember the file was empty just the first line which had numbers, now the laptop is working perfectly thank you everyone thank you mr vesko for sacrificing a bit of your time since this morningComment

Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

I tried extracting the ones from dell's website
but they are not the same size as the one saved feom the bios chip.
or if their is a way to make the one from dell's website work when programed to bios chip.
