Help remove the protection of the Absolute DELL Latitude 5400. There is no way to disable this protection item in the BIOS. Here is a bios dump 16MB



Please tell me, DELL Latitude 5400 board EDC41 LA-G891P Rev 1.0 (A00) I have 3 chips, UC6 16MB UC5 8MB U1 16MB. But as I see, many have a 32MB flash drive. The problem is Absolute blocking. In which flash drive exactly is this lock?

Hello,
I found a solution to clear password from BIOS bin file (using "Hex Editor Neo"):
1- Select the range 00045000 to 00048fff
2- Select "Edit" then "Fill"
3- Put "ÿ" in "Pattern" zone.
4- Choose "Fill selection" then clic on "Fill" button.
5- Save the new file.
Enjoy!!
NB : Always make copy of backup then work....

I am new and was reading the rules for bios. I don't get how to get the dump file. seems a bit too technical for me. Is there an easy guide to get it without be a programmer.

Ok thanks, so far I did what removed the battery and CMOS battery for reset, tried the Dell CCTK tool but doesn't do much.

I will look at the guide again. Pity I bought the laptop refurbished with the bios locked. The people I bought it from said, I don't need it and won't do it for me.
