I managed to get the other chip bin file UC5 chip
but my problem is the UC6 bin file which is original W25Q128 bin file that is getting "flash check error address 0h"

Hi y'all, I have a Dell latitude 5400 with an edc41 la-g892p which Id like to unlock, I bought a ch341 with a clip and was able to read the bios chip (winbond 25Q80DV) but when I read and save it I only get a 1024 KB file and I see most people mentioning 8 and 16 MB files, am I doing anything wrong?
I'm also replacing the ssd on an Inspiron 3380 and I read and dumped its. Bios chip (winbond 25Q12CFVSQ) and that one was actually a 16mb file so I don't know if um reading the wrong chip on the 5400,any help is appreciatedComment

Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -

* BIOS Status: I successfully modded the BIOS file and created FINAL_CLEANED_ME.bin (32MB) with a clean ME region (CSME 15.0), because the original dump was corrupt.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, π π π ... -

Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
