Is there a definitive method for clearing these passwords? I did try clearing the nvramactive area on the 32mb dump and the bios log persists. If i understood the previous post, this is the ec chip and should only be necessary to clear on this chip (u367)

Could you please help me remove the BIOS password on my HP Elitebook 845 G7. I tried modifying the files myself, but it didnt seem to work. Here are the original BIN files for both the bottom and top chips. If you need any additional information or files please let me know. Thank you for your time.

hey, i'm looking for clean bios and ec dumps, i tried to flash both with files taken in a thread but the laptop won't start and caps lock blinking 7 times (I guess because they are not clean)
I don't have the original backup up because the original ec i broke it before i even read it..., so i buy another one!
Thank you so much, I'm losing my mind for this laptop!
Ugh I just did the same stupid effing mistake. Ground pin busted off on the EC. can't find any remnants of the pin to try and attempt reviving the chip. I'm under the impression that I might be able to flash the bios and ec once I replace the ec to get it running again? How screwed am I here?
And here I thought I would have a nice afternoon reviving this system.
I have found that much of the information in many forums around this problem have been missing a lot of vital information.
After my own research and experience I have documented exactly what worked for me.
I hope that others may find this helpful.
Ok, so I was able to salvage another system to try this unlock. I followed all the steps, and bam, it DID remove the password, but now I have the endpoint security controller error. I'm assuming that's why people here request both bios to do the unlock? what should I modify in my main bios to remove this error?
I've attached a dump of both top and bottom chips if anyone can unlock them for me. I tried comparing to other bios and even though I find the area's commonly modified it doesn't seem to be what I need to modify on mine? (I have the unedited bottom bin in my zip)
Probook 635 G7

no video.
I programmed both spi (U366_U365 and U367), now video com'in but show error end-point and ask password.
attached original dump.
Thank your for help.

Sorry i mystake because is same mb code. Remove it if off-topic.
If a thread title has only a laptop model number then only requests for that same model should be made.If a thread title has a motherboard model number only, then any laptop model number can be posted in that thread if the motherboard (including revision etc) is the same.

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.
Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.
I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.
These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown: 🧩 Initial Issue
Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
