Ok, so I was able to salvage another system to try this unlock. I followed all the steps, and bam, it DID remove the password, but now I have the endpoint security controller error. I'm assuming that's why people here request both bios to do the unlock? what should I modify in my main bios to remove this error?

I've attached a dump of both top and bottom chips if anyone can unlock them for me. I tried comparing to other bios and even though I find the area's commonly modified it doesn't seem to be what I need to modify...

Ugh I just did the same stupid effing mistake. Ground pin busted off on the EC. can't find any remnants of the pin to try and attempt reviving the chip. I'm under the impression that I might be able to flash the bios and ec once I replace the ec to get it running again? How screwed am I here?
And here I thought I would have a nice afternoon reviving this system....
