I also have a problem with a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.
An incomprehensible problem with the battery, I made a post on the Dell forum, but no answers, and a YouTube video of the problem, which is more telling:

I have already tested 4 different BIOSes from Electronic Repair School: new BIOS, clean ME, NVRAM, but none of them work (error code 5 white LEDs and 3 orange).

After reading all the postas, i flashing the BIOS, whit #131 the screen displayed an image and asked for the service tag or to press Alt+F. I couldn't do it, and it restarted. After that, the screen had no brightness. Using a flashlight, I was able to enter the BIOS setup and enter the service tag. Now the laptop works 'fine,' but the screen has no brightness.
I suspect it might be a hardware failure, but I would like to consult about it. Thanks!!"

Thank you very much! Now the machine turns on, but like many others here, I have the problem that the screen has no brightness, and the coolers don't turn on until 95º. Do you think it could still be a BIOS issue, or should I abandon the software side altogether? Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this!

PCB SLEEK G3 MLK N18P 19795-1 403YF$LA Motherboard received in no display condition. Customer original fault is Keyboard and touchpad not working after removed battery. Already someone tried to programmed BIOS then no display. Unfortunately the product service tag is also missing. Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...
