i want also help my laptop is lenovo flex5-14a with motherboard lc55-14a 19793-1... my old bios is but when i put the old one again back to bios chip the ch341a write that it is buffer dissagrement .any help with this?Comment

Thats a common issue because the included software is poor. Alternative software is available https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...40&postcount=2 1.1.1.6. CH341A
EDIT: your backup file is 16,385KB it should be 16,384KB .Attached is your backup with the 1KB deleted.Use the alternative software

Hello guys. My flex 5 (14are05) screen just died. I do have a programmee and saved a copy of my bios. Then reprogrammed with a couple of bins posted here, but now there is also no power. Before had black screen but the power button and fan was working. any ideas?Comment

NO LUCK
NO POWER ON
NPCE388 CAPACITY IS 128 KB
IF I USE NPCE385PA0DX WITHOUT ANY PROGRAMMING LAPTOP POWER ON AND CPU V CORE ALSO PRESENET BUT IT KEEP RESTRTING ABOUT EVERY 4 SECONDS CANNOT GET ANY IMAGE ON SCREEN.
IS THERE ANY IDEA????

my laptop is lenovo flex 5 14ITL05
recently my power supply for this laptop developed a fault.
which caused a short in my usb c port -- verified with a new charger.
rant: so, i went to the repair tech in my country, he asked for a huge repair cost when i decided to get it done someplace else this "great person" nicked my bios chip, asked me to be aware for repair scams lol.

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V.... -

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.
I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...10-11-2024, 03:12 PM
