I have an HP laptop and the motherboard model number is 17887-1A (Gale 4G MB). The laptop is a 15-CN0007NA.
The motherboard is working fine, the only problem is it won't charge the battery. The battery is recognised too, it just won't charge it.

Hi. I have an HP Pavilion 15-ec0006na. I updated Windows and unfortunately the BIOS has been updated, after that the BIOS corrupted. It does currently turn on, but keeps saying BIOS Corrupted. I've downloaded the BIOS files from the HP website using the laptop's S/N and updated the BIOS chip, but unfortunately now the laptop is completely dead. Any help please? I've checked most of the voltages on the board and they are okay. I'm going to provide the original BIOS, please let me know if anyone can assist me on this, I'd be very grat...Leave a comment:
