Hi all,

I've opened this 830 G6 up and for the life of me, I can't find the chip! Can someone give me a heads up whereabouts on the board the chip I want to be reading is? The pic below is the only chip I can find. It's located next to the DIMM2 slot. I'm pretty sure this is not the one I need to be looking at, but is the size of chip I need to be searching for?

Hello, there are two HP 830 g6 laptops, on one it was possible to remove the password using RCU, and the second one does not turn on with a patched dump. Tried HP unloker too without results.

Hello, after editing the dump, the password is no more. But when starting the laptop, it gives an error. Resetting BIOS settings and updating did not help. Help to remove the error please.

I tried HP unlocker it didn't remove the password. I looked for another chip but I couldn't find any besides those 2.

Would it be on the back side of the computer? I only looked on the front and couldn't find it.
