Re: ME Firmware Cleaning Guide
Is it the same bios youve already asked about in the HP ZBook Studio G8 thread - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...3&postcount=14 . What is your model, firefly or studio G8 .If its the same bios you`re asking for just bump that thread,no need to post the same thing again. If its a different one then start a new thread.

Re: ME Firmware Cleaning Guide
you have at post #1 in this thread, a tutorial on how to clean the ME region.. with that program it will hurt you more... if you don't succeed, look for a thread on the website in the "bios only" section with the name and model of the laptop and post the content of the bios chip there, and someone will help you..Leave a comment:

by SMDFleaIf you have to clean the ME firmware on **some microsoft surface models the touchscreen can stop working.
** Some models do not need this fix.
*You should install the latest updates from microsoft, including the driver packs before assuming there is a hardware problem.* - See Post #2
EDIT: If nothing else works try this fix - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...8&postcount=40
Always check a working dump from the same model using FIT.If the working dump default setting for "Integrated Sensor Hub Supported" is set to "NO"...-

by gurj1979Hi guys.
I've got a Ubiquiti US-8-150W POE switch which has issues with updating the firmware.
Turned out to be a bad EEPROM chip. It would read the firmware and work as normal, but failed to write new firmware to it.
So I took off the chip and read on EEPROM and saved it. Wrote to old chip and failed to write
Got New chip and writes good.
THE PROBLEM...
It fails to fully load the firmware, POE lights fail to work during g firmware test during load. I'm suspecting bad EEPROM Read.
Does anyone have a Good Firmware I can have?...-

by wattageHello Badcaps Community,
I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.
The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...-
