ok, sorry for delay, hw monitor shows 1mwh battery is present even no battery is connected, battery connector pins from left to right, i have no schematic or brdwv
with battery =(pin1&2 16,7v) (pin3 not used / no wire to battery) (pin4&5 3,2v) (pin6 2,9v) (pin7&8 gnd)
no battery = (pin1&2 17,4v drops to 0,1v) (pin3 not used / no wire to battery) (pin4&5 3,2v) (pin6 0,3v) (pin7&8 gnd)...

Hi, i need help with this laptop, laptop freezes when i enable power saving mode but with turbo mode works fine, i removed battery but laptop thinks it is present & charged to 255%
could this be some voltage leak to battery sensing lines? is there any way to do some test or measures, thanks for help -

i need g701vi vbios for gtx 1080 mobile card paired with i7 6700hq, card works with some vbios versions somehow form techpowerup but i think they are for 7th gen cpu mboard, card is reconized as unknown in gamingcenter, in dev manager all is ok, can i flash max-q version vbios so it would run cooler? -

bios chip is between ram cpu & gpu, on top of upper ramslot, there is same kind of chip leftside of upper ramslot but i dont know what that is, my message got deleted when i uploaded biosfile to previous post but it was, FX505DU.zip, badcaps.net*forum*showthread.php?p=969483, actually tbh my case was corrupted ec firmware but it will auto flash it with this bios when making first bootLast edited by swammyw; 06-13-2023, 10:59 AM.Leave a comment:

ok, i had actually bad bios and i fixed it with ch341a programmer & good bios dump dl from bios request, btw ch341a can flash 1,8v bios chips if 3,3v mod is done & if u disable/ insulate pin 8 from chip...Leave a comment:

i need little help here, and thnx to all who have helped me, mboard: DABKLIMBAC0
but the issue is laptop was dropped and i think the pch solder ball was cracked because when i press pch with finger it boots up and works, but it heats up sometimes and shuts down bc i cant keep my finger on it, i think under pch is small piece of solder rollin and shorting stuff, sometimes it wont heat but still shuts down when i take pressure off
should i remove plastic things on corners of pch and flow flux under it, and flush it with flux & hot air gently and after that do reflow...Last edited by swammyw; 05-25-2023, 02:09 PM. -

ok, the me state changes configured to initalized, so bios is initalizing me, but how can i flash ec, i am suspecting it bc fans spins only once when laptop is booted, in flash image tool i just load ec binary file, is that all? or do i have to do something else, what is ec region enable & ec region pointer file?Leave a comment:

me analyzer gives error: detected incomplete firmware size 0x800000 expected 0x1000000, warning firmware size exeeds engine region, possible data loss,
the bios chip is 16mb so i dont know bc there is also 8mb bioses available to this laptop should i try that or is it also waste of time...Leave a comment:

i need help with this laptop, mboard: la-f991p, no post but turns on, fans spins only once when power button is pressed, no capslock or numlock light, voltages are correct & resistances from coils, i compared from working predator mboard, tried clean me bios flash (many versions) with programmer but same behavior, and me state does not change when i dumped clean me bios back and checked it with me analyzer, so it does not write to bios
