Difference between files is a Padding sized 16777216 bytes, after Bios_Region. Try removing it. Post Serial no. as in rules of this forum and I'll try to help.

Your original is 16MB, the other one is 32MB ,weird

Try NeoProgrammer software instead and see if you have better luck with that

Hello.
Can someone please remove the Supervisor password from this rom?
When I try to use autopatcher, it creates the PATCHED file and deletes it after a few seconds.

Lenovo T580 when I go to write the patch file I get file size larger than ic size. I can read and write back the original file no problem but not the patch file. Do you know how to fix this?

I uploaded the corrected BIOS but the password is still there and half of the functions cannot be changed in the BIOS.

Try first the "...new.bin" file and see if the laptop is booting ok and if it has password.
If all ok you have the patched content also in the zip , write it and follow the procedure from the first post in this thread.
In short:
- Enter any character when asked for Supervisor Password
- Press Enter when it shows Hardware ID
- Press space bar 2x when asked
- Turn off machine
- Restore original BIOS

Please provide feedback.

You MUST:

Not as a picture, part of the file name and so on.

Working on old X380 Yoga Thinkpad with unknown SVP set, dumped 16.384 kb from Winbond W25Q128 chip, auto-patcher output says bin-file "is corrupted or does not contain a valid dump" - any hint? Thanks
