Hi there, looking for the flashrom-extension that is presented by a user called "Jack O'Neo" over on eletronicabr.com -> First post on Link: [url]https://eletronicabr.com/forums/topic/155033-flashrom-com-suporte-a-edi-kb9012-driver-compat%C3%ADvel-ambos-para-windows[/url]

The archive seems super useful to add more chip support to flashrom so that it becomes possible to read flash content from additional ECs e.g. ENE KB9022 which are used on many boards. However, the forum seems to have a tedious credit farming process to get to the download link . Maybe someone...

Hi there, looking for a compatible replacement for a diode type labelled "V6 18" from a dead Panasonic plasma TV power source. Yeah, might there be some kind of a spark discharge happening inside the chip? This could also explain the hot surface temperature I assume (?). It does sound like these rather new plasma arc lighters...100% the same hissing noise but way more subtle (I have compared it next to each other).

Thanks for the input. The hissing sound still makes me wonder, has anyone experienced this? It sounds exactly (!) like these small flash discharges when you're touching a plasma globe and it comes right out of the chip (pressing it gently with a screwdriver has no effect).

Hello there, got a Thinkpad E15 on the bench, almost no vital signs. Only things: Power button white LED flashes several times when USB-PD gets connected (number of flashes varies from three up to twelve times, sometimes no reaction at all). Battery charge indicator LED stays orange. Most interesting is hissing / whining sound from Battery Charge Controller IC BQ25710 on the keyboard side of the main pcb. Board fuses tested and intact, no shorts found so far. BQ25710 is also the only thing on the board to become warm in thermal image (below 70 °C). Thanks for any hint.

Dead Panasonic Viera TX-P65STW50 Plasma TV

Hello, got a ST50 plasma TV for repair. No signs of life, not even blink codes. Opened it up to check the power supply, type MPF6914. Apparent issues from visual detection and measuring for shorts:
Diode type G972s6 - D101 with a short
Mosfet 06N90E - Q301 shorted
Fuse T5AH 250V - F103 blown
Diode D301 shorted
Relay DG1U-17VDC II - RL001 blown

I have not found a circuit diagram. Maybe someone here already dealt with a similar issue? Thanks for tips where else to check 😀...

Got a Thinkpad X380 Yoga with unknown history for cheap via ebay. Only screen was broken, rest working according to seller. As I had a another working screen from a donor X380 with a broken mainboard, I figured I could make a working Thinkpad from two broken ones. However after the screen swap the Touch and Pen feature still doesn't work, neither on Windows 11 nor in Linux (tested with various distros). Already transferred screen cables and BIOS EEPROMs to ensure it is not an issue with screen cabling or board software. Turning the machine off leaves the dan and power indicator light on, CPU remains...
