Bios HP 250 G7 need help

    Hello everyone,

said NB recently tried a bios update (automatically?) said the owner. So I tried to flash the latest bios from HP using a repair stick.
However, it only starts during the flash process until "initialize"... - after a few seconds it switches off and stays on with pwr_led.

Bios backup file does not exist.
    Serial Nr: CND93963RY

Screenshot of the label attached. Can someone help if possible with instructions or a link to it?

    Thanks in advance

but I managed to dump 8mb by checking the check id, I attach the dump,

          the bid version 084AA

i think the tl866cs will give writing problems for this i am trying to use the WIN + B procedure,

I prepare the usb key and copy the bios to the current folder, I rename it 084AA.bin but it gives me error "Bios ID of Image does not match system"
you also need another 084AA.s12 file

          thanks for the help
Hi, how do you manage to obtain the bid version from the bin file?? i made a dump file of my bios but i can't find the version inside.

          Thanks!

There is no bios update listed on the 250 G7 drivers support page but a full bios is is included on the latest HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS 4-IN-1 USB KEY - http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp1035...0/sp103655.exe
Make another key from that and run it, if you still can`t recover the bios then extract the 4-in-one key with winrar or 7zip.Look in the folder called Field, then open the BIOSCopy.csv to find your bios name in the list. All the full bios are in the BIOS folder.Flash the bios with your tl866,then you`ll need to run hp BCU bios config utility from windows, nbdmifit from UEFI or use wndmifit from windows.

EDIT: The bios.bin isn`t in the BIOS folder even though its listed in the BIOSCopy.csv file. The bios is 084A8 ,check your bios backup to make sure its the right one. Strangely the bios is included with an earlier version of the 4-in-one key for other models but not listed in the .csv , thanks HP ! .

hi i have the same problem with my hp 6BP85EA#ABZ 250g7 - the bios should be the f.22 mb 8532. Bios is corrupted and i have not a tls. Could you help me please?

The BIOS may be wrong, im not first who flashed it. That means i dont have original file. But SN is from bottom cover.

Hi there, I got this laptop used and when it reboots it tries everytime to update the BIOS but it fails to write the bios and stucks at 1%.
To power off the machine, i need to open it and remove the battery.
I saw in the BIOS that the serial, model and windows serial info are missing. Maybe the previous owner messed with the BIOS for some reason, and now I don't have the DMI data.

Maybe if I can manually insert back the values, I can proceed to update, but how can I add the values? I tried with the HP BIOS Tool but with no luck. I do have an SPI Programmer (using Raspberry PI)
