I have a problem with dumps...i flashed a few dumps found here...32 and 16mb, i get caps lock always on and nothing else...Before the laptop would turn on but was extremly slow...Then i restored the orginal bios, and it's all the same ,only caps lock...

your bios backup was faulty, that's why is recommended to read chipset 2-3 times and compare results, if you have 2 backups identical it means you have a good backup. Writing other files from another laptops requires at least to perform a clean_ME and transfer DMI, win key, MAC adress, etc.

Hi can someone help me with my laptop please? I read and try over one week all posts here but nothing. I tried with the script to fix the backup bin file but just some error in Line 11 Error code 1. Elitebook 840G G6

What did you use to extract your bios ? Your original file is only half.

So i use from HP download site old util, because this one for this model don`t have option for backup file. Only update bios and create butable usb. But i think for the half, problem coming from last attempt to update the bios. when instalation finish under windows, to be completed continue after restart. But then coming the problem. I see only error message for ENDPOINT problem, and auto restart, and again error message and next restart to infinity. After remove power and battery and cmos battery, i see only endpoint error and windows load normal. If that what you attach for me is correct BIN file, can you recommend me some util or tool to flash the bios please?

We should only use a programmer (a hardware device) to extract the bios from the SPI chip, other software (if any) can only extract the Bios region (half).

I see a serial number in your dump file, 5CG8515SSC, it is of HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC.
