It's a lot more simple if you just replace the HDD.
There's a slight possibility to Secure Erase the HDD, as some models use a fixed HDD master password (HDD Master Password + HDD User Password), if that HDD master password is recovered from the BIOS code then you can use an HDD utility and use that 32-byte password to either unlock it or Secure Erase it depending on the HDD configuration when the password was initially set... but it will take time.Comment

Greetings from Germany and a happy new year 2022. Got a hold of some CF-54 MK3 laptops. Can install windows but with no access to the Bios. Got the .rom file with help of badcaps.net while reading your advise. It would be great if someone can help and I wonder what "flash" the bios chip meant. Do I have to get a programer device or can I boot from USB stick to flash the new bios rom ? Please, excuse my bad english.Comment

Hello,
I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
