many thanks to you. I understood now. Got a CH341 programmer. Wish there was a solution without dismantling the whole Notebook ( big problem is the keyboard ). Keep the forum updated from time to time. Have a very nice day, lads.

Greetings from Germany and a happy new year 2022. Got a hold of some CF-54 MK3 laptops. Can install windows but with no access to the Bios. Got the .rom file with help of badcaps.net while reading your advise. It would be great if someone can help and I wonder what "flash" the bios chip meant.
