No they aren`t standard offsets in PC bios.Each motherboard maker has their own DMI tools ,and Dell,Acer etc have their own DMI tools as well thats sets where the DMI info is stored in the bios,or the EC.Using a hex editor only works with some bios`es.

curiously, i noticed this while fussing with the laptop... not only is the windows info gone, but the hw UUID, serial number, etc...



in apple EFI it's very easy to find hwsn, uuid, MLB.no, etc when replacing logic board, but these PC bios are greek to me!

existing bios was corrupted. replacement bios worked fine, but had to copy windows licensing info over. unfortunately I haven't spent much time working with PC laptop bios, not since modding SLIC tables for win7 activation heh

If you have bios programmer. Program this bios and post results.

Use this bios,but forget the ec ,its just here for others to use with a KBC programmer.
